Louis, I am not suffering nutritionally from not eating potatoes, rice, beans, lentils and let’s throw in fruits. Nor am I suffering from being fat adapted and eating until satiated, mostly one meal a day. While I do low carbs, if you can follow a mediterranean eating style, with very little processed foods go for it. Eating carbs doesn’t work for me. I do keto with whole foods, and the only thing I might buy that is processed is the keto ice cream bar. I recently ate some matzah for Passover (I planned for it and thought about how I would have to adjust my eating those days) and although it tasted sooo yummy the two days I ate it i didn’t feel that great. If I were to have another higher carb day I would make a lentil soup. But I don’t feel the need now. For the first time in 50 years I don’t feel deprived and I don’t think I’m dieting. I am getting healthy and because i am getting healthy I am losing weight. I feel great. Blessings 🦋💜🐱🌻🌟🌎

@Rob Smith Having a degree does not guarantee that somebody is correct. Dean Ornish is a medical doctor. If all doctors were smarter than everybody else they would agree and always be correct, but they don't agree and they are not Real victims of the Dunning Kruger effect, like yourself cannot see through the lies and the myth that somebody who has a degree, certificate of education, or is considered an expert is always correct. Dumb ass people who don't question authorities or doctors always stand behind the "I'm more educated than you so I'm correct" fallacy. Every educated person is correct about some things, and wrong about some things just like everybody else, and you are claiming I am a victim of the Dunning Krueger effect? The Dunning Krueger effect, and a pretty strong ego explains perfectly your response to what I wrote. If I was actually a victim of the Dunning Krueger effect, I would believe that I'm smarter than everybody else(which I don't), I would believe that I know more than most people about nutrition than most people(which I don't) and would be incapable to accept valid criticism(which I am able to do). Insults and not understanding that experts are not always correct is not valid criticism. Valid criticism would be showing me where I made a mistake. I have studied a little bit about insulin, and the people who talked about it said that carbohydrates raise insulin the most, then protein, then fat. If you could show me that my opinion about that is wrong, I would listen. If I was a victim of Dunning Krueger, I would not listen and assume I'm correct, but I'm not doing that. Show me how I'm wrong about insulin, man.

Try eating the vegetables I eat on my keto diet...none.
@Rob Smith Where did you get that idea from? Protein raises insulin some, but fat does not very much. High insulin is not really a problem for healthy people who don't eat fructose.
@Rob Smith Having a degree does not guarantee that somebody is correct. Dean Ornish is a medical doctor. So is Dr Gregor, Dr Furman, Dr Esseltyn, etc. and I know these guys are not correct about most their views on nutrition. If all doctors were smarter than everybody else they would agree and always be correct, but they don't agree and they are not
Real victims of the Dunning Kruger effect, like yourself cannot see through the lies and the myth that somebody who has a degree, certificate of education, or is considered an expert is always correct.
I wish the Doctor would just answer the question asked instead of rambling
Radishes grow below ground but are a super food
People don’t realize that potatoes grow well in various parts of Florida and there’s a serious industry near St. Augustine. Not Idaho levels, but more than one might think.
And ...? LOL, this video is about avoiding starchy vegetables, way would you think it relevant to post that potatoes grow in FL?🤣🤔
The best vegetable is no vegetable. Hate ‘em. Don’t need ‘em.
Speaking of sound modulator. You need to do a better job of sinking Dr. Westman's audio and video.

Hi Amanda, there is so much misinformation out there. So many folks are getting the wrong information. Dr. Westman has an online course called Keto Made Simple? This course teaches you exactly how to implement a Keto diet, safely and without all the confusion. Over and over the video lessons, there is also 3 weeks of support within a private Facebook group. The results have been incredible. There have been over 2500 folks taking the class since December 2020. If you would like to join the waitlist, click the link below.

Oh geez! Corn is a GRAIN, not a vegetable! Grits are not a vegetable!
He's helping people! Do you find canned corn in the grain isle, or the vegetable isle?? No, doesn't make it a vegetable but you don't find tomatoes sold next to the fruit either do you? If you can't understand what he is trying to communicate without being so pedantic I feel sorry for you.
does meat protein really spike insulin?
Protein spikes about 50% what carbs do
None!!
Keep it simple and don't eat any fruits or vegetables.

@@AdaptYourLife Yep. Follow Dr. Westman's protocol. You can't go wrong, he's the best. You won't find a better resource in this genre.
Guy on left just doesn’t look like he’s prepared for this talk. Poor effort.
The guy on the left is a highly regarded dr. I think he knows what he’s talking about.
You're just a poor little troll.
He’s a great doctor
