Do you make one for a threaded BB?
Love the video! Will this work on a older road bike? I’m looking to convert it to fixed gear.
Jordan, our EBB only works with PF30 frames, but can be used to tension chains for fixed gear riding.
My frame has a 73mm wide shell with an inner diameter of about 47mm. It takes in a pf30 but are you sure the cups will fit the frame?
Changing a rear flat going to be a pain. Have to carry a lock ring tool :(
Actually you don’t need to adjust the the bb to remove the wheel. Only if you are changing gears ratios. The wheel will drop out if the dropouts like normal.
What tool is being used when the chain is tensioned?
In the video we are using a hozan lock ring spanner but started selling laser cut spanners that fit the radius of the eccentric on our site here: www.squidbikes.com/collections/tools/products/oner-tool
do u have this for a longer bb? my frame is press fit 386 but its a bit longer, its about 92mm do you have an Eccentric BB press fit 92mm?
Mine bolts through the bicycle frame into the cup is bit different but same concept
Will it work on a bb90?
Great explanation. Can you use any crankset on these bottom brackets...or do they have to be specific type to the Eccentric?
Dan, almost any 30mm, DUB, 24mm or GXP crank can be used as long as the spindle is long enough to accommodate outboard bottom brackets and the correct reducer kit is used. Please email us at sales@squidbikes.com if you'd like to ask about specific crank compatibility.
