Correct! It’s an old cup that is no longer in use. Perfect for demonstration. However, ask yourself, why do they say “do not disassemble.” Is it for your benefit or the manufacturer? 😉
@@reginaldscot165 I thought you would say that. I assume it is because of liability if someone gets it wrong, but I agree that even a semi competent mechanic could fit new bearings and be completely safe with the cups forever.
I love tools. I know some would say I'm sad. I also like to keep them in great condition. I would touch up the marks with a permanent marker pen. If you've got any more really interesting tools I'd like to see them.

Off topic ... it would be great to see some videos on refurbishing old parts - e.g. derailleurs, shifters. I.e. parts (unlike chains, bearings) that could in theory never wear out. I have some old ultegra 6700 derailers ... unsure whether to dismantle, keep whole and soak in white spirit, etc.
Nice review of the product - for sure see recommendation for the nicer model over allen key. Comment on remark that you can press the bearing back in if good and just cleaning it. You just pressed it out with push against the inner race to free up the outer race. Usually bearings aren't intended to be reused after a lateral load against the non-friction held race. Press out the outer race and press in the outer race - sure, could re-use then. I've not taken apart these newer cartridges, perhaps not built for mainly vertical load and they can take it. Have you actually had bearings last long after a cleaning and repacking doing that? Thanks.

mitt is for the catcher, behind the guy with the bat. Glove is for pretty much everyone else on the field. Mitt has extra padding to absorb the pitch repeatedly. also, I was a bicycler, not a baseballer, so this information could be entirely wrong. 😅
You sometimes have to laugh to yourself with the instruction manuals on some of the Chinese products... (interpreted into broken English) we call it Chinglish!... :)

It’s a catcher and first baseman mitt, everyone else has gloves. Good video. Maintenance on bikes isn’t hard if you have the know how.
