I absolutely love the shots with the leaves in the water and the tree trunks. That impressionist painting look to the water and leaves with the sharp contrast of a photo of the trees is glorious. I had to pause and just look...that is magic. Beautiful!

Do you ever tire of the splendor that is the Canadian Rockies, not to mention Vancouver Island? Outstanding work and vlogs that are second to none on the ‘Tube’. You are a master. All the best.

I love aspens. I'm drawn to photographing them. They're sublime, with or without foliage. Living here in southern Alberta, they're not hard to find. I'm happy to find your recent videos featuring the trees so prominently. This one, and the last one, were a joy to watch.

There are nice parks around Hamilton, ON with water features. Today, my wife pointed this out to me. Encouraging, since she has effectively grounded both of us so far this year. With a bit of luck, we will get out and get some photos in the process. I know they will not be like yours, but maybe I will surprise myself. If I do, it will be because I have spent hours watching videos by you and other landscape & wildlife pros. Always enjoy your work, and learn something. Thanks!

So many shots to be had, wonderful Adam, your camp ⛺️ wow! Bobby dazzler, one of my fav shots was the slight movement around the birch, rather than the longer of short exposures. The colours, you and Jeremy get to the most incredible locations. I think my fav shot is at 14:12 shame about the VR left on. I do like the highlights in the water, lovely texture. Thanks Adam, really enjoyed.

Hi Adam, I was out in the Abraham Lake area last year on December 17th but the lake still wasn't frozen. It was incredibly windy but it still was a beautiful lake even without the ice bubbles. Thank you so much for sharing how you go about taking images, really interesting and you certainly have a great eye for photography in my opinion. Hope your weather holds out. Cheers!

Great stuff Adam... Your beautiful presentations help to keep me in the loop... I'm actually watching this for a 2nd time now... I know further into this video you mentioned forgetting to turn OFF the image stabilization on the lens causing some blurs or out of focus issues when used on the tripod. Been there, done that & I won't repeat the words that came out of my mouth after getting home trying to process my images after a ( 2 ) hour drive, one-way & a ( 5 ) mile hike in, totally geared up only to experience the same thing you have done, in my case a gorgeous 140 foot waterfall in the White Mtns. of New Hampshire... Your pictures are stunning nonetheless... :~)

As soon as Adam said it wasn’t sharp, straight away I though, “bet he left IBIS on”.....and a few moments later he confirmed it!
What a great recovery though, taking the higher shutter speed sharp shots and then combining them to help smooth out the highlights on the water, great idea!
The final image was spot on for me, subject really suited that crop.
On the Aspen leaves in the water shots, it was the 13 sec shot that appealed most to me. Some of the floating leaves were static/sharp enough, while other areas where blurred with the movement was the water currents. That looked better to me than the shot with the floating leaves ‘all blurred’ or the ones with all sharp leaves.

Those images are just stunning. That last one is something I would love to have large and on my wall. I need to remember your comments about not always shooting the whole scene and going for more intimate shots. It is very effective and more unique for sure. Loved the canoe part of the video too. Just love this type of video. But it makes me a bit jealous. I live on the prairies and we do have gorgeous scenery, and not all flat and bare like some people think. But I do love this kind of scenery and we don't have too much of that.
