Well it's Friday, so that means MORE Peasants killing lords and overrunning Calradia, hoping for democracy but at least ensuring chaos and the end of tyranny...

Episode ten continues the peasants rampage as the lords of calradia are on their back foot, being trucked and mauled by scrub troops.
As requested from a subscriber, we venture into battle with a watered-down force of most middle tier troops and scrubs, disobey our lords and take on our foes in this new mini-series designed to put us into the ranks of a peasant revolt against their lords. In this series, we'll try to thwart the mighty powers of the lords, band together with other low and middle-tier troops and try and beat back the hordes using more brains than brawn. This series, a side-branch of my late-game campaign, demonstrates how an army of mediocre and weak troops can take on, clash against and even WIN battles against the most powerful armies in Bannerlord, using tactics. This series is designed to inspire players to further their field command to the point where they will fluidly move troops depending on situations, and win battles like a Legend.

Improved AI Troops(Also makes enemy lords and their armies tougher by giving them a higher daily xp rate. This means you'll routinely face armies with HUGE numbers of the highest tier units, sometimes four or five times the normal amount in vanilla Bannerlord): www.nexusmods....
Death for all: This mod allows you to set the rate at which nobles die more often. I want both a harder challenging late-game but also a more realistic game. If you're cut down with a massive aserai two-handed axe, you shouldn't just be injured 99.9% of the time. It's a very customizable mod so you can just a little more death or set the death rate so high you get several deaths every battle. The number I often like is '10', some deaths but not a massacre of nobles...

I also use the Dismemberment Plus Mod: It's highly customizable and works seamlessly with the new beta(and versions back to 1.28). I thoroughly recommend it if you enjoy carnage!:

I've also used Realistic Battle Mod in the past and highly recommend it for Ai and battle realism BUT I find the pace too slow for my taste and the AI is actually rather predictable after a half dozen battles. Still I wanted to put a plug in for it here, it's a GREAT mod and highly configurable. www.nexusmods....

I absolutely love how aggressive you are in the opening and im all for it because i cant Express the sheer RAGE of being a slave. Especally a back-to-back "Hello again" deep-In-Enemy-Teritory kind of Slave. So yes. I appreciate you running them into the ground. I watched a Funny Playlist of this game from A youtuber called BestGuest. His comedy is top notch and made me by this game. Then immediately throw on hardest difficulty coz he made it look funny. Now im Dead. Playing as my brother with a dozen saves all at the training grounds coz i cant leave his Legacy of slavery behind. On his Brother's honor.

My goodness. That second battle was brutal for the AI. Its hard to imagine that in real life, and the absolute hell that the men of old went through in a massacre like that.

I am not ready for chatGPT level AI in this game. However, yesterday was a turning point for me in terms of tactics: beat an army triple my size with very minimal losses. Like a 15 KDR if I remember 🤯

My question is, is there a good way to use pikemen which you can maybe show in a video, I know that in costum battles you can only use the vlandien pikemen, but these kind of troops do notreally convinced me yet, so maybe you find a way to use these in a accaptable way.
Because I was thinking about playing my next run as a mercenary with only higher these mercenary troops, so I would have the pikemen, crossbowmen, outriders, macemen, and maybe swordsisters. Thank you
Pikeman are just NOT real effective in Bannerlord, not even pike and shot or the shiltron is very effective with how far apart they stand, no shield, and the limit of their other offensive abilities. Sorry to burst your bubble. If you REALLY want to use pike and shot or pikeman well try the RBM mod with the breakable pikes mod together....

Question: I just had a defending siege where i broke in to help. i wasnt able to place my troops before hand but i could pause and switch around and place in rts. i had 1,2,3, for melee, 4,5,6 for archers. I kept trying to place my archers in the back so they could load into the troops coming down the steps, but instead they just kept turning around right after i gave the command to move and 5 and 6 went back and huddled up into the towers. luckily they retreated but still annoying. Would you happen to know why those units kept ignoring my commands and switching back? maybe an AI thing? For context I am a merc for Rhaega.
Probably cant control other troops as a merc, also sometimes the UI gets buggy, I use F1-F2, follow to pull them to me or use F1-F5 to pull them back, then try and reset them...
@@HeadlessHorsemanProductions that’s the thing, i tried retreat, i tried f2 to follow me, it just kept switching immediately back to placing those two units on a tower they would turn around in a second. and it wasn’t the garrison troops there were about 100 of them that weren’t under my command.
@@poohberzz They may be heading to siege weapons. The AI automatically and robotically heads to siege catapults and ballistas in a defense...
Just a question out of curiosity if I have been playing this campaign for about a month now and it is the year 1108 and i joined the southern empire so i could wait for the queen to die and i take the thrown the queen is about 65 and i am about 45 should i just rebel against the kingdom or should i just wait for her to die of old age just saying the power of the southern empire is 25k total counting my troops and my clan is about 7,7k i just wanted to know what should i do should i wait for the queen to die or should i rebel and make my own kingdom i am asking for what you think the funniest road would be controlling the most powerful kingdom in my campaign or crushing it
If you don't mind consolidating your power for a few years, I'd just wait. Also people can live into their NINETIES in Bannerlord, so she might live for quite a while. :)
I always favor making a new kingdom as early as you can but it WILL BE DIFFICULT - which means you'll want to come back for plenty of tactical advice and other campaign strategy. Goodluck(and make a saved game so you can reverse your decision if it's totally destructive to your campaign).
