    I’ve never used that kind of scale and now that I’m practicing medicine, I’m having to use it. I really, appreciate this video because it gave me a clear idea, on understanding HOW to READ and USE the SCALE.

If you would be so kind, I am 26 years old, my height is 160, and my weight has not been measured for a while, but I think it is 65 kilograms. Is this appropriate?

    For the exam if we had to complete skill 3 (ambulate using transfer belt) and skill 14 (measure&record weight of ambulatory patient), do you recommend ambulating the patient to the scale and then after bring them back to the bed? If so, would the weight of the transfer belt affect the weight of the patient on the scale?

    • @NURSEJAR
      @NURSEJAR  8 місяців тому +1

      Hi, Clarissa! No, I would not recommend that. Each skill is a separate skill. You can not combine skills. You must perform each skill individually and in the exact order as listed on your skill set.

      Thanks for the message back. I’m in Georgia and I’m preparing for the Pearson Vue evaluation. My teacher insist that the feet cannot touch the floor. She states that when we put the patient in a sitting position, we must have them dangle there feet until we place their shoes on. She further stated that each state have different rules and regulations for the Pearson Vue evaluation. This is confusing because I have not seen nowhere that it states the feet must dangle but she insist that if we don’t make the resident feet dangle then
