Testing an HVAC AC air conditioner contactor.
If any pole shows open (with coil energized), or resistance of more than a couple ohms, the contactor should be replaced.
Occasionally, the contactor will fail closed (the contacts never open), so as the video shows, each pole should be open when the coil is not energized. Once energized, each pole should excellent continuity (very low resistance).
