@@Robroscob i have the 2009 , and has the screen model 47220 i think someone replace it ,but stop working, do you know if only the 47220 and 47260 works?? Is there any other model I can possibly use?

Speak from experience - there are many versions here in the US with different last four digit. 47071 is the non rear camera. It has a lower resolution LCD and not so modern graphics from 04-06.
The 47220-230-260 are the 07-09 models (230 is the non nav) that uses a higher resolution LCD. These screens are interchangeable plus 220-260 are direct swap compatible. But if it’s just the LCD you can buy a 230 for cheaper then swap the LCD over.
but is the 260 the improved model. did Toyota fix the blank / dead screen issues with the 260?

the process to replace the mfd is similar for both lhd cars as well as rhd cars? There are replacement videos for lhd cars but I have never seen one for a rhd car,
yes similar in the way the covers come off..easy to work out and only a couple of screws to undo. be careful not to pull up on the plastic vent/shifter cover. pull outwards and not upwards or it will snap the plastic like i did to mine when i first took my old mfd out to look at it.

My old screen for 2008 prius was 47230, i cannot find that, buy i can find 47081, do you think that will work?

Did it take you long time to take apart prior to swapping it out
Took less than an hour to fully take out and swap to the new and put back together. Quite easy. Remember to only pull the hard vent piece towards you to take off do not pull up because it will break. Also the start button from memory can hang down and doesnt need to be released from the surround on the Aussie rhd version.

what is wrong with your 47260? the wreckers i bought mine from in Brisbane never told me the part number. Just showed me the pics and it was for a Itek. sat nav reverse cam etc. it was still in the vehicle. So you should call up a few places and ask. also tip..you can shine a mirror threw if you undo the top speaker without removing the unit to check the part number. I would go for the latest version 47260. the 47220 has black screen issue that i'm pretty sure was fixed in the 47260.

47260 is extremely rare to find.
