I sprayed dads truck a little bit when I did the fender flares. He bought the truck used and it already had some rust damage. Dad will probably wear this truck out before it completely rots anyway. He put close to 400k miles on his old Duramax.
My rust free 2009 has been sprayed inside and out but it's really hard to find rust free used trucks. My 09 looks better than every 2018 I have seen. Some people around here never wash their vehicles in the winter and that's a really bad idea. I really shows after a few years.
@@mossman381 last year I was looking for a commuter car to save gas on my truck and went and looked at a Ford Focus. Turned out the car had spent 6-7 years in Michigan. All the metal underneath had surface rust and the aluminum had corrosion. It was low mileage but I passed because of the rust and corrosion.
If your driveway is gravel or dirt I would recommend shoes. That plow is pretty heavy and they back drag pretty good as is. I would say you don't need the deflector. They do help keep snow from overflowing over the blade when you are pushing a lot of snow.
My 09 is doing great. It has such low mileage there is really nothing to go wrong. My door lock does hang up sometimes. I think that might be because I hardly use it.

Looking good 👍 i like the running boards as the are sacrificing part to protect the body
I like the black better than the chrome.
Good job it’s good seeing the dog he’s getting used to the shop
He is doing better. He is still ready to run at a moments notice for some reason. I need to do an update video on him.
Great job, awesome work
They look nice. I'm surprised your dad hasn't fluid filmed his truck with all the snow y'all get.

Good job as usuall mossman
New boards look better. Looks like it might be time to do some preventive maintenance on the rocker panels.
I sprayed the rockers with Fluid Film when I installed the fender flares. This truck was bought used and already had rust damage.
@@mossman381 ok 👍. I’m glad I live in Texas and don’t have to worry about that.

What part of Wisconsin are ya from?
Trying to get a mvp3 for residential driveway.just want to ask do I need shoes or backdrag blade?and do I need the RUBBER DEFLECTOR? Thanks

How is your truck holding up

@@mossman381 how many miles do you have on it
@@danielmartone3179 It had 66k miles when I bought it. I am pretty sure I am over 70k miles now. Not sure the exact number.
