    I like the design. Everyone else mounts the motor between the frame when running a chain drive. Makes this design a gas assist. Love it!

    Friction Bikes are also A Lot of Fun To Build...and Ride....I've Built a number of Wacker Engine and Chainsaw Engine Bikes, for My 11 and 13 year old Nephews..And The ones with "Wacker Engines" could get maybe 15 to 20 mph (at My weight of 175lbs)......But, About 40+ mph with a chainsaw motor.....GREAT VIDEO !!!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR SHARING THIS BUILD !!! !!! !!!

      Classed as a motorcycle in South Australia since December 26th 2016 (a real kick in the teeth for anyone who got one of those kits for their bike that xmas since there was no damn warning about the change!), requiring a full suite of safety features, lights, etc, plus inspection before you can register the vehicle, a licence etc. A way to ban a cheap transportation method without technically banning them. Now you have to spend 5 to 10 times as much on an ebike kit if you don't want the expense of owning a car or if you don't drive for other reasons.
      You can still ride them on private property, just not on a road or any public lands... no more cheap trips to work if there's no public transport in your area

    • @swakage13x
      @swakage13x 10 місяців тому

      That's one thing I like about the US If it is a 49 CC motor or smaller You do not need to license or have one you dont need tax you don't need to Be any specific age Or have any lights You just can't ride with the motor on in certain areas Like on a bike path That specifically says no motorized vehicle. Otherwise I could ride one of these across the country if I wanted to. The only thing you have to pay for is the repairs and fuel.

    Cool video but ( advice for everyone ), If you are using a drill to put things together with, make sure you hand tighten every nut, bolt and screw after. Nice and tight. Don't guess, know for sure.( I hope he does ). A simple tip for welding is to make a slight C shaped pattern as you move in a nice steady line so you are melting and dragging the metal back and forth for a very strong and good looking weld. Take Care !

    I couldn't help but notice that the drive chain rubs on the back tire. you should find a way to move the chain out a little more from the tire. 12 MM should be enough. That will save unnecessary wear on the tire and prevent an accident in the future. other than that, I am impressed.
