I hope in the future we get active lane keeping, where the truck actually keeps itself between the lines on its own, instead of having to cross over the line.
Yeah but with so many assists enabled you will end up only parking (and the game is about driving lol)
it would be nice, because if it's an emergency, you activate the autopilot and you just sit in the bathroom haha. i know it wouldn't make sense, because it's a simulation game, but it's not bad to have it anyway.
You can enable that. Just look in the keyboard settings and turn on something like "Enhanced lane assist" or something like that. I really forgot how it calling😅
I mean you can enable that just by keyboard
You can already enable this assistant by pressing a key adjusting the mode of the lane assist, it’s called active lane assistant, and in most cases it works well
I'm really glad i'm into old trucks & dont have all that. It would drive me crazy, the truck does everything for you.
It's not like you can just take your hands off the wheel and nothing bad would happen,
so that whole *truck does everything for you* is blown out of proportion once again....
I mean sure, I get it, As i'm into the older models too.
But that's just not true.

All of this is also in ATS, except for Electric drivetrain + regenerative braking and front mirror camera
Except for the electric vehicle and the front camera, all of them are available in American Truck Simulator. I know that electric vehicles will also come to American Truck Simulator. I think that in America, trucks do not need a front camera because they have long noses. That's why the front camera feature probably won't come to American Truck Simulator.

You forgot Voice Navigation and Dynamic Turn Signal (Dynamic Turn Signal is currently only available in Renault Range T 2022 and electric renault truck).
LOL, soon the trucks will drive themselves. Same thing in MSFS where 99% of time autopilot is flying for the player.
How to have camera antevisor functional on the New man
First put the front mirror camera in the place of front mirror, and press the hotkey "infotainment display mode"

@@AP_101 oh, the way I’ve only experienced the scs fuel / electric consumption system is just based on distance, and also just like time in cities, consumption goes slower in there too, I’ve driven downhill the furkapass only regenerating my battery while losing 5%
It's can be strange, but these improvements are worthless as long as SCS maintains the trailer collision bug with the rear fenders of trucks and bumbass few traffic along these years 😕
Most of those things are annoying and i turn them off. Only drive simulation things like ABS, traction control are very nice to have.

yes you can from Gameplay settings, and for mirror cameras, choose a traditional camera from customization

Buddy, I have even put dates of release in the video, so obviously I know. I mean new, not based on releasing in ets2 but because these technologies are new in general, not just ets2 but also real life
