    Thanks for the Video.. I have been chasing Intermittent issues for a year now... Its more communication Codes but I am pretty sure its either a Nicked Wire or a Bad Ground... You just showed me actually too places I need to check... The other location it the Pack of wires coming from the O2 Sensor that go up on top of the Cross Support member just in front of the Oil Filter @ 9:18...
    Mine pack of wires are all exposed and may be resting on that cross member... Hopefully one of these is it... May the Lord Bless You In All Ways, ALWAYS.

    No kidding, I think that's it.Just disconnected that metal retainer and my fuse hasn't blown yet.Still need to get some wire protection there.Wish I would have watched your video sooner. Spent $277 at a shop that couldn't fix it.This UTUBE is great and so are you!Thanks again.

    Dude, you are awesome! I have been chasing 3 of those 5 codes on my daughter's 2008 Impala. The rough part was it didn't blow the fuse at first. I found a short on the other side of the engine, right under the starter.

    U do well with explaining things and the how's & why's of why things do what they do. Nice job!

    Hey, excellent video! You took care to consider the viewer and handled the camera accordingly. I also appreciate that you said something I've been saying for 26
    years; the trouble code does NOT mean change that part! Find the cause of the code, fix the problem! Thank you so much!

      Hello. Thank you for the kind comment. I am glad that you enjoyed the video. I am still new with the camera 😄 Yes, codes are just a direction of what to look at.
      Have a great week and God bless you.

      I have the same code p0036. Did this solve your issue. My wires are exposed as well. I believe this is the issue.

    I have the evap and O2 codes as well as a random loss of power and stalling. Feel like I been chasing my tail on it lol. Will have to check this out.
    Did the customer have rough idle and loss of power or stalling?

    • @gqautodiagnostics
      @gqautodiagnostics  Рік тому +1

      Yes

      Thanks a lot man! My fuse was blown. After the exhaust came apart at the cat, the O2 wires got smashed into the heat shield and broke. I replaced the O2 since then and still had codes for both O2 sensors. Lol.havent had it stall out yet, hopefully over the next few days we shall see!
      Thanks again!

    scanner danner would be proud.
    mine is all brittle too. do all cars do this or did GM get a good deal on some of that junk tubing?
