Beautiful skating, you can see how she generates power from both legs. Elegant and functional. My coach has the same elegance, marvelous to watch although I go a distinct shade of green. It is taking me a looooong time to improve my forwards crossovers, backwards was so much easier. Excellent video, as always.
Congratulations! And thank you for sharing. Beautiful! Front crossovers are such a challenge for me! I fall on them, often! I'll be thrilled if I can ever learn to skate them beautifully.

Hi Kseniya and Oleg. This video is really good it shows a clear view of the steps and makes it very understandable. I love your videos and will keep watching them best of luck in everything you do. I am so enjoying this. I have a outside closed Mohawk with lfi crossover (barrel roll?), crossed closed chasse, spiral round a curve, outside three turn with extended leg. and exit. If you could show any of these 5 elements I would be so delighted. Then if I passed them, it would take me to silver (skate uk star passport) Rae You both look so beautiful and elegant when you skate.
Thanks for your video, that's really helpful! I'm actually struggling a lot on backward crossovers at the moment (especially getting on an outside edge before the cross) - is there any chance you could make a similar video about those, too? Thank you :)
This is so helpful, how do you not trip crossing your feet over so close haha. But in all seriousness, I know this might be a lame question since it's probably something you guys are flawless at, but could you maybe make one of these showing how one should turn from a forward skating position to a backwards skating position? Just skating straight ahead, no crossovers or anything. Or maybe you've already made that video and I'm just not seeing it anywhere. Thanks!
Kseniya and Oleg Official Channel Hey thanks for the reply! I wasn't talking about crossovers though, just skating forward (as one would glide forward) and while moving forward, change skate direction and skate backwards (as one would glide backward). It's something I can do on one side, but am struggling to do it on the other side, and seeing it on video might help me take a closer look at the actual technique and practice the movement off ice so that I understand the technique better and gain confidence to do it on the ice as well. I don't know if any of this makes sense, but I'd be so grateful if you guys understand what I mean and could maybe incorporate it in a video somehow.
'And finally, don't look down! The ice isn't going anywhere.' Maybe I should write this on my hand so I rember not to look at my feet all the time... :/
There are a number of things involved. These three videos will help. Basically you need yo not tie your skates so tight that you can't stick your knees past your toes by several inches. Also, you You shouldn't tie your skates so loose that you don't get a rebound from them when you press. It takes time to develop sufficient ankle strength and control, so practice these exercises they will help: ua-cam.com/video/T1mw6TDAlq4/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/p9Bh9sznvrU/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/Wpw0S8AUIhI/v-deo.html
Thankyou:)Do you personally do any off ice exercises?Would you have any exercises you could recommend that would improve on ice balance, posture and muscle awareness etc?

are u talking about mohawks
You could do it with a Mohawk, a three turn or even a two foot turn :)
Is crossovers for curves/turns only? Like you can't go straight when doing? Newbie here
They tend to throw you into a curve due to the pushing out motion of both feet.
Super cute! Also very helpful!
как всегда, прекрасно
