You are such a great educator because I have been trying to make sense of the edges but others tried to simplify it too much that it became misleading. This video makes so much more sense! Thank you!
This was great……I’m actually getting ready to sit the Preliminary Test in Australia, which includes the consecutive edges and Fwd and Bwd Crossovers (what you would call the Power Circles)…we don’t have any adult track here.

I'm glad that it help you! Best of luck on testing 😃
Wow thank you for this! This is extremely helpful, which I didn’t see in other videos so far! I’m struggling to do the outside edges and also standing on one foot for long. Do you also have tips for standing on one foot longer or does it comes with practice?

It comes with practice of putting your weight on your skating foot equally. You’re very welcome!
I am so confused right now how do you do edges put the pressure on the front edge or the bottom or the middle and how do I do pumps the right what??? Am so confused

You actually put your weight on the edge that you are skating on by leaning. There are only inside and outside edges - front and back - on each foot. There is no "front edge." However, when your are skating forward, your weight should be on the middle back of the blade. When skating backward, your weight should be on the middle front of the blade. I suggest that you look into group lessons at your rink so that you can benefit from instruction.
@ so when am skating backwards it’s like the pressure is on the middle and near my toes and in the front skating the pressure is in the middle and near the back of my foot??

Rather than thinking about where it is on your foot, try to consider the blade a tool that we need to use correctly. It's where you put your weight on the blade, as I explained. Coaches will help you get a better understand of how to use the blade. I encourage you to look into lessons in your area.
