Hey, what if they did that, but with separate triggering steps for the put on top then mill so you can draw, for example, as interaction before the mill? That’d actually be interesting
@@lenajohnson6179 Well, there are technically, to my knowledge, a bakers dozen non blue instants with "counter target _____" (Avoid Fate, Artifact Blast, Burnout, Dash Hopes, Guttural Response, Illumination, Lapse Of Certainty, Molten Influence, Pyroblast, Rebuff The Wicked, Red Elemental Blast, Tibalt's Trickery, and Withering Boon), but 4 are hate spells against blue, another is pure artifact hate, one is artifact or enchantment hate with a downside, one puts the countered card on the top of the players library instead of the graveyard (situationally worse or better than a normal counterspell), 2 only counter things that target your permanents, 2 can be stopped in exchange for in one card taking some damage and in the other card losing some life, one requires you to pay life to cast it and can only counter creature spells, and the remaining one lets them cast a different card from their deck that they can play without paying the mana cost. So... yeah, you're pretty much correct in practice lol. Lapse has some minor usage in Commander from what I've seen but it's commander so that kinda weird stuff is expected. Lapse would also be good in tempo I think, but most white tempo decks are white/blue anyways. I agree it shouldn't doomblade though.

1:11:20 Technically, you will! Just not enough counters: Sunburst makes it EtB with a +1/+1 Counter per colour of mana spent to cast it. But without taxing yourself somehow, you'll only get 2 counters, & its ability need 3. On the bright side, it's a 2/2 or 3/3 for 1W! It's not all bad!
Demonic Relic, 1 mana target thing blocks, would actually be pretty decent tech, something blue doesn't really get access to, that's more of a red or a green type of thing.
Lazko is still mostly Defender because, as chat repeatedly said, opponent can refuse to pay the 0. 1:00:13 Powercreep! It's a Legendary 2/2 for W! With an upside! 1:06:42 If it weren't a Vehicle, a 5/4 Artifact Creature for 1WW would be scary. But with Devour 8?!
With the Krovikan Reverance you have to make it a creature and then put the flagbearer aura on it from Apocalypse. It says that all targeted spells have to target a flagbearer and the enchanted card becomes a flagbearer.
So, about Krovikan Reverence... Its oracle text would read "0: Counter target spell that targets only ~this~." So cloning abilities would work, and inheriting abilities would also work. If you have the aforementioned card in your graveyard, Trazyn the Infinite is nigh unkillable
Chatgpt likes powerful stuff: **Name:** Stormcaller of the Endless Skies **Mana Cost:** 3UU (3 colorless, 2 blue) **Card Type:** Legendary Creature - Elemental Wizard **Power/Toughness:** 4/4 **Abilities:** - **Flying** - **Storm Surge** - Whenever you cast an instant or sorcery spell, you may copy it. If you do, the copy gains "Draw a card" in addition to its other effects. You may choose new targets for the copy. - **Tempest Mastery** - (2U, Tap): Return target instant or sorcery card from your graveyard to your hand. Activate this ability only if you’ve cast three or more spells this turn.
Conclever Inquistion almost makes perfect sense. "Whenever a player taps an Island for mana, add one mana of any type [to your mana pool], that player exiles two cards from their hand face [down]."
1:36:15 Hard to get Enchantment Creatures in GY for Loyalty, but wow that pay off. The Level Up is good, too. Turn 1, Birds of Paradise or something. Turn 2, play this, make a 3/3 or recurr something. Turn 3, if it's still alive, sink 4 mana into it to get a 9/10 Flying that adds Loyalty. (If you can make it a creature.)
10:55 Legendary Flying 6/6 with perpetual Yawgmoth's Will for only 2UU. 17:51 As mentioned, it's EACH attacking creature. It's not uncommon to act WORSE under the effects of alcohol! Partiers who demand you toss something to have them attend probably ARE drunk!
I feel like the flying planeswalker should only be attackable by creatures with flying. Although I think most people would just ignore that planeswalker since it doesn't have enough loyalty to use any of its abilities anyway.
Just a note, Renegade Gorsmix says nothing about WHO'S attacking creatures. So that includes your opponents attacking creatures...that be a busted card. Spirit of Glory doesn't say BASE power and toughness. So counters from monstrosity and such still apply due to layers. Pretty decent card, though still costly. However, a bonus effect on top of +3/+3 power is fine.
At a card that makes you win for losing. Simply make a card that states, if an ability or effect would cause you to lose the game for any reason other than loss of life, you instead win the game. (or something like that) That simple. You can't concede to win, because that's not an ability, that's just a thing the player can do.
Qoancheed Berries, Legendary Artifact Creature - Trap. Ya so apparently Shrine is not a creature type, and yet the Go-Shintai ones are printed "Legendary Enchantment Creature - Shrine" Which is just terrible on WoTC's part, that formatting needs a bit of improvement to clarify that Shrine is an enchantment sub-type, and is not legally considered a creature type. So if Trap is not already a creature type, that could be the artifact sub-type leaving this creature typeless.

Whenever a player loses, if they didn't concede the game, they win the game instead. Whenever a player wins, if an opponent didn't concede the game, they lose the game instead.
blue can't have doomblade because it has counterspell. Seriously Blue is essentially the ONLY color with access to counter magic, why should they be allowed to also just nuke things directly? Counterspell IS blue's 'doomblade.' But don't get me wrong, I'd LOVE for blue's monopolies to end so... Blue can have doomblade when white can have plain old counterspell.
@@mattmaccay2351 let's be very real here. Most of those besides mana tithe barely count. To be fair since you don't shuffle it back, you get to know your exact draws for the rest of the game so it maybe could be useful.
@@HaibaneKuu Yeah and if you had a way of making yourself shuffle you could try to use it to fish for something useful.
