- On Tuesday in Anaheim, Jon Jones gave his defense in front of the California State Athletic Commission at his doping hearing and answered questions from commissioners. The former UFC light heavyweight champion tested positive for a steroid in relation to his UFC 214 fight with Daniel Cormier in July.

Read Castor no obviously he gets his due process to determine the severity of his punishment. But as for the rule is self. It’s already been broken. There is NO scenario where jones is given no punishment and is deemed innocent. Anti doping policies are no leniency policies and even unaware negligence is a crime. You can’t truly believe a clean athlete finds himself in this situation twice, yet every other clean athlete never finds themselves here even once. Fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me. Anyone who believes he is purely innocent is in denial or just not being objective. Can I say if he tried to dope to get an edge? No, not with certainty at least. But can we say he violated the state athletic commissions anti doping policy ? Yes. He did. He’s guilty of the having turanabol in his system. His intent is only extra stuff.

One commissioner pointed out that on his 2016 pre-UFC 200 USADA declaration of use form Jon Jones falsely claimed that he was not taking any supplements before fighting Daniel Cormier. However, after failing a drug test prior to that fight he then claimed he was taking supplements not originally disclosed. And again, prior to fighting Daniel Cormier at UFC 214, he only listed taking 7 supplement on his USADA declaration of use, but after failing another drug test (this time for Tarinabol), he claimed usage of another 10 supplements.

There are various different scenarios that could fit in here. Let's see which one makes the most sense/most possible.
1) Jones is being framed, someone is setting him up for failure. He's innocent.
2) Jones camp thought they were smarter than the testing people, Jones didn't know anything about it and took the drugs without knowing what he was taking, trusting his coaches. He's innocent, his camp is guilty.
3) Jones knew what was going on, he willingly took the drugs, he's a sociopath which means he can lie without a problem, thus he can pass a polygraph test with no issue whats so ever. This is who he will be forever, no change. He's guilty and his camp is guilty.

I love that Jon couldn't give one example of how he improved upon himself. He clearly viewed is last run-in with USADA as an obstacle that he had to overcome, and try to reclaim is image so he can be a role-model for kids which are all done in the sake of self-preservation and legacy, rather than purely become a better person. I don't know how he ingested such a drug with so few studies done in that small timespan, but whatever was contaminated with Turinabol, was probably a different steroid like Mibolerone.
This is just crazy, like I still can't believe a month after the fight reports come out that he got caught with turniabol. like AGAIN??? man..
