I agree they should have went with the more decayed spinal cord look. It’s a dope piece but I think the Daniel Bell Sideshow PF is gonna be the way to go as long as the paint looks good on the final production.
I really like the paint on this. The red, black and red look great together and help make it pop. I wish you wouldn't have put it up next to Bell's though. That one looks sick!
I preordered this. For several reasons; awesome pose/concept, paint, low edition size, different version of carnage, and I plan on pairing with the new XM Venom and Queen Studios Venom bust. I’m happy they did not go with the spinal chord, it would have been distracting, but I would have appreciated the comic book accuracy. I also have the DB SS Carnage on preorder with the SS Venom (with SS Symbiote Spider-Man in hand). But like you said these are more definitive pieces. And XM wasn’t going to beat DB’s classic Carnage version. Hoping to see a licensed venomized Wolverine, eventually...
Completely agree. Love the statue for what it is, but it should have been more iconic Carnage with the visible spine if it was gonna be an Absolute Carnage at all.
Interesting how Carnage has become more popular now. I guess of so many Venoms produced and collected a Carnage is a must to have for the balance. This XM piece looks fears and a nice concept of the character. There is a costume one made where he is based on a fire escape holding on to M.J. that looks amazing. Which ever one you get it will bring a feeling of completion to a spider collection.

not a bad carnage statue, wish the paint on the base had a little more contrast with the figure as it kind of blends together. sideshow's the winner for making characters look airborn, the key-in on the calf works so much better. agree on your take with which version/pose they should've went with.

I love the switch outs, but a few shots make it just seem really busy and harder to make everything out. I really like how SS made the tendrils all glossy black. Makes it easier take it all in. Also it’s hard to beat a Daniel Bel sculpt. I’m going with Sideshow on this one.
I thought I heard the reason they went with that base and stance as he’s on the defense as it will pair with XM’s hulk venom piece . I like the paint scheme but agree , they should of went with the spinal cord
This is a better version compare to their 1st edition of carnage, they almost get the red colour right, the sideshow one still the superior, the base is not boring, the pose is good with good musculature, but the 1st edition carnage portraits still the best for me

I really like the paint job. I don’t like the Symbole on his forehead. The feeds with the nails are amazing. I’m not sure if I like the pose… the left leg looks a little big… I don’t know wired odd for me.
I’m not a fan, there’s too much black, or the black likes are too thick, it just doesn’t look right. That other Carnage that you showed is much nicer, I really like that one.

You just need to learn calories and macros and figure out how much you need for your goal… for example: fat loss will require you to eat in a calorie deficit. Should be 20-30% less than your maintenance. So you need to find your maintenance based on age, height, sex, etc. Building muscle helps burn fat, so you’ll want to weight train + plus have your protein high, carbs and fats low

Carnage is one of my favorite comic villains. Anything with carnage in it I’m automatically interested in.

The spinal looks like he is starving himself of blood. If I were designing statues I’d have that.
