Do you always plan ahead exactly what you're gonna paint: colors, layers, and order of painting? Or do go just with your instinct. You're painting looks always so well composed - calmingly self confident. Thank you for this video! Fan of your art.
no, i totally improove while painting. i only do the predrawing before but also not always with Details. i think its an experience thing. the longer i paint the less i plan ahead. only when i work for clients i often have to do it because they want see roughs before i start with the final Illustration :)

I'm quite new in UA-cam and I still get so camera nervous while filming the speed paintings. I need to keep calming myself like: "you can do this" And "if you mess this up it won't kill anyone. It's just a painting". But im sure as I re-learn my watercolor techniques and get use to the idea of spectators - it will get more confident. Just need some practise (as do everything) :) Thank you again for your art and videos!
