When you see people parking at 90 degrees backing up (bay parking), it's probably this method you'll see, when they advance diagonally before backing up. It's easier this way, but not as clean a method as the other one at the exam.

Note: The size of cars and parking spaces vary from place to place, so you may have to adjust in some situations. With this type of parking, if there are vehicles on the sides and behind you, make sure to always do your verifications (by checking the mirrors and by turning your head) at every step in order to always keep a safe distance from the other vehicles, or any other potential obstacles.
My teacher was either yelling at me or rolling his eyes whenever I practiced parking so I come here to get a proper explanation without have to feel so stupid. Thank you it starts to make sense and I cant wait to try it out.

great video!! the method for me I find easiest is to center yourself in the parking spot you are reversing into - then do your 45 degree angle and reverse.

Thanks for the video! Very easy to understand! My instructor always ask me to keep the car moving (either 1st gear or in reverse) while turning the steering wheel. What's the difference between turning the steering wheel to the extend we want before moving the car and turning while moving? Are there any effects/disadvantages of these two methods?

I think this is the best way to reverse park.. I read many Walmart parking comments and this seems like a solution to someone not stealing your spot. 😅

Ohh God this is the easiest and simplest technique I’ve ever seen
u should make a whole video or a compilation with all the parking methods. parallel between 2 cars, parallel next to a car and nothing behind, 90 degree parking front/back
Your lessons are the very best. But the reference points are from the point of view of a driver sitting on the left. In places where one has to drive on the left side of the road, and the driver is on the right, the reference points will be different. Will it be possible for you to give guidance for those in this situation?
