- Here's a video on how to correct a 90 degree parking (bay parking) in reverse when you're already inside the spot. It covers mirror adjusting, steering wheel techniques, alignment with the lines, other cars, and so on.

Note: The size of cars and parking spaces vary from place to place, so you may have to adjust in some situations. With this type of parking, if there are vehicles on the sides and behind you, make sure to always do your verifications (by checking the mirrors and by turning your head) at every step in order to always keep a safe distance from the other vehicles, or any other potential obstacles.

I had to go through several videos to find your video. Finally! Last night I saw this video before sleeping and today morning I parked my car and felt it was too much towards the left. I was wondering if I should leave it there or risk attempt to correct it. I took the risk, remembered what you said, move in the direction of the gap by quickly turning the steering wheel and then straighten the car, then straighten the wheel and reverse holding the steering wheel still using left hand and I parked like an ace!

Please do a front parking correcting, including parking too far to the left or right, parking slightly diagonally, or if there's not much space to back up.

I got the license some months ago but I can't agree with setting the mirrors every time you're doing a parking. It takes way too much time to set them for parking then set them back for the road. *just my opinion;
great tutorials.
What I mean by that is, until you get used to how much you need to turn the steering wheel and advance, that's a good trick. Besides, it doesn't take that long if you have electric mirrors. I do it several times a when taking the car after my students drove.

Lets say the instructor wants me to make a right turn from the dmv exit and go into the far left lane to make a left turn on an intersection. The street has three lanes. Which lane do i go into?
That depends of the configuration of the street, but normally, you have to go into the first one if it's available, and then you do two lane changes to the left.
