This was filmed at the Rapids water park literally a half hour away from where I've always lived. This is literally a thing we used to do as young weirdos in south florida so this video literally embodies part of my childhood and i love it.

I wish i had something like this when I was a kid. As a late 90s and 00s kid, the best I could ask for was 80s new wave... good grief, I grew up in a cultural void of time. I wanted to be more queer... but i had zero fucking examples.
We are living in dark dismal times when records like these arent main stream.

idk, seems kinda obvious to me what the point of the video is & how it corresponds to the song. They were all happy & smiling, but at the end of the day they go back to their real lives & wish they were back there with each other.
This song transports you to a happier place.
I have a blue Celica and the engine had been blown for years. Seeing this video reminded me of all the good times I had in it (even propping the hatch up with wood!) and it inspired me so I just fitted a replacement engine to it and it's on the road again, all because of this video. Thanks Chvrches for the motivation

This might actually be my new favourite music video like in the world ever, I just found it really subtly emotional and visually interesting and I really feel like I got what the main girl was feeling even without any dialogue or overt signs~ Great job to all involved with its production!!!

this was the first chvrches' song I heard and they became one of my favorite bands!
I first heard this song back in Feb 2016 and instantly fell in love (also their very first song I listened to).
The week before, I had the chance to see them live at my Uni's event but decided not to go because I didn't know who they were. Dear God, the regret........
I cannot get enough of CHVRCHES! I love everything they stand for and it's so refreshing to see a band in the music industry stick to their beliefs from day 1 and still continuously create opportunities for themselves! Keep up the fantastic work guys

This music video is making me ball my eyes out. In 2003 me and my friends were "Hot Topic, Mall goths" and we all went to our local water park looking like goths and just having fun and i hate nostalgia so much, man 😭

At first i wasnt happy they werent in the video because Lauren is slaying the videos lately... But this imagery was fantastic, i thought this video was going to turn super dark but it didnt take that route, it just made me enjoy how much fun they were having, this is one of those music videos that dont have to really deliver a story, the song just kind of tells you whats going on while the video captures good vibes
