    This guy knows his stuff. I had tmj that was getting worse. Noticed I was clenching my left jaw all day. Found out I had a misalignment in the atlas, and it set a number of issues. Years of brain fog, and it seemed like my memory and misplacing things were getting out of control. Stuffy nose. Muscle spasms. You name it. Unwrapped several areas and used a roller to align my spine and after months of working the area...slowly. I've got range, and my eyes aren't seeing double. Hearing isn't popping, sinus cleared immediately. I would go to this Dr if you have questions. I've done years of research, and this dr has nailed everything I'd been looking for in answers.

      I stumbled upon his videos looking to help with my burning mouth syndrome (much of which most Doctors DON'T know about) but quickly realized from his various videos that I've have many of the symptoms He's listed with the cervical instability and vagus nerve involvement, INCLUDING receiving a lens for a cataract but post-surgert the vision in that has been affected by the very symptons outlined here also.
      It's incredible how accurate Dr Hauser's descriptions are!

    I have had tingles, finger and hand tremors, and constant light flashes in my vision for the past year. In the past 2 months I have also developed double vision (monocular diplopia) in each eye. Brain MRI was normal, cervical spine MRI came back with 5 herniated discs from C3-4 to C7-T1.
    My neurologist thinks that all my symptoms come from compressed nerves in my cervical spine. I went to an orthopedic surgeon and he seemed to easily dismiss what my neurologist thinks.
    Every once in a while I wake up vibrating like a cell phone, electric shocks pulsing through my body. You are one of the few doctors on UA-cam that even acknowledges that these issues are possible. I’m so lost, at the moment I feel like a 36 year old shell of who I was 18 months ago.

    I had a severe accident in 2006 where my C vertebrae and T spine vertebrae were severely damaged. I have lived with chronic pain, headaches, brain fog, anxiety, etc for years. I have been to chiropractors for years and never received relief. I am seeing an upper cervical chiropractor now but I still feel like the underlying issue is not being addressed. The headaches are daily, chronic and most of the time debilitating. I have recently found some relief from yoga, stretching, chiropractic and acupuncture but feel there is more of an underlying issue. My ligaments were damaged from the accident but no one addresses it. Sometimes I feel like I know more than they do at this point from following your channel and reading countless articles. You will most likely be hearing from me in the near future as I'd love to visit your clinic and get your opinion.

    • @CaringmedicalProlotherapy
      @CaringmedicalProlotherapy  3 роки тому +2

      Hi Austin, Very sorry to hear about your accident so many years ago. Sadly, that is very common that the initial damage to the ligaments becomes progressively worse and develops into a complex set of symptoms as you've described. Glad that you have been working to better understand the neurology of the neck and neck instability. As you know from our webinars and videos, we look at the cervical spine through various motion tests like digital motion x-ray to see what is happening during real-life movements to impair nerve function and other vital structures in the neck, and then develop an individualized treatment plan to help restore the correct curve and strengthen/repair the ligaments. If you would like us to review your case in much greater detail in the future, please feel free to reach out to us anytime. We wish you all the best in health as you navigate possible options to restore your spine and get your life back! Take good care, Austin.

      @@alicek.4258 When I was In kindergarten I complained a lot about my ears ringing and seeing a "rainbow" in my eyes that made it hard to see the board. My parents didn't know what I was talking about but when I started having grandmal seizures they finally realized the ringing in my ears and the "rainbow" I talked about was right before having petite mal seizures. We found that out because of a doctor. My parents visited several hospitals including 2 different children's mercy hospitals trying to find the cause for my seizures. When doctors couldn't figure it out my dad did some research and decided to bring me to a chiropractor. He asked the chiropractor to look at my neck since I also complained about neck pain. The chiropractor did an exray and noticed my atlas vertebrae was out of place. My dad asked him if he thought my neck being out of place could have been pressing on my vagus nerve and causing my seizures. The chiropractor thought it was plausible so they decided to fix my neck and see if it improved my seizures. I was brought in every other day, once a week, twice a month, once a month etc. Until my vertebrae stayed where it was supposed to. I havnt had any seizures since. I still go to a chiropractor if my neck ever starts bothering me so my seizures don't start up again.

    Thank you so much for your work and creating these videos. It breaks down the symptoms by explaining them. I'm a TBI patient. From an extremely bad fall on concrete I fractured the left side of my temple which extend up above the brow. It has affected my short term memory and my vision has changed in that I'm wearing readers at 200-250! The hospital did zero in on a cervical problem and concluded that it's also the reason for my lone afib and benign hypertension dx but nothing further has been recommended other than seeing a neurologist and cardio dr. But I would love to know what to ask my gp doctor to get some kind of therapy for this.

      Hi Cat Skittles, Thank you for your kind words and so happy that the videos have been helpful for you, also that you were able to obtain a diagnosis of cervical instability. We have seen that hear as you've described, afib and hypertension having a cause of cervical instability. It can be so frustrating for people, especially who are otherwise healthy to have this sudden onset. Sounds like the hospital did a nice job of figuring that out. For most people to get Prolotherapy for cervical instability, they would not get it from their GP, rather a doctor who specializes in Prolotherapy for the cervical spine. If traveling to our center in Fort Myers, Florida was an option for you, our team is happy to review your case and see if you sound like a good fit. In Nov 2020, I woke up one morning with pain in the back of my neck. I assumed I slept on it wrong. The pain never went away. It eventually got worse and I was unable to run without feeling intense electrical jolts shoot down my neck and arms.
    Fast forward to Jan 2021, I abruptly woke up hours before when I normally wake up. My left eye was twitching for a few seconds and my surroundings looked very distorted. Everything felt like it was going in double speed. I knew something was wrong. Then I developed a severe headache and started dry heaving. I figured maybe I had a severe migraine, so I took medication and eventually went back to sleep. After I woke up, I felt mostly fine. I just noticed that whenever I went outside, I would see floaters and what looked like blood vessels whenever I looked at the sky.
    A few days later, I was driving to the store and suddenly I saw static appear in my vision. I pulled into the parking lot and my surroundings looked distorted again. I developed a severe headache. It was so bad that I had to call my mom to come pick me up. Within the next few days, I developed other symptoms like severe depression, mood swings, lack of hunger and thirst, tremors, photophobia, seeing after images of objects, fibromyalgia, etc. I went to neurologists and had brain scans done but none of them found anything remarkable.
    Then I had a neck scan and they found that I have mild cervical spondylosis. Could this be indicative of cervical instability? As of today, I still deal with neck pain, visual snow, afterimages, and photophobia.

    • @Sasha8pancakes
      @Sasha8pancakes Рік тому +1

      I looked up cervical spondylosis and from what I saw it's basically known as arthritis? Try a carnivore diet, maybe research how carnivore diet has helped people get rid of arthritis. I recommend so many supplements and have to type them every time I recommend them I'm honestly gonna have to just make a video, if you're interested I can give you a list of my most important supplements to least important. I'm possibly try an inversion table to get some pressure off your vertebrae because you're facing a cervical issue which as far as I know is basically your spine so maybe an inversion table could release some pressure, but take it slow if you do inversions, and maybe try them both relaxed and kinda tensed if you get what I'm saying, physically not emotionally. So carnivore diet oh definitely eat the highest quality meats possible factory farm meat with growth hormones and antibiotics is not a good idea but it's still better than vegetable which are basically pesticide chemical bombs. One of the biggest things about carnivore is that it eliminates a lot of anti-nutrients from vegetables. Research anti nutrients. Also try to strengthen the muscle around the head and neck and jaw like maybe chew on Siberian larch/pine resin, larch is better in my experience, if you chew on gum make sure it's unflavored, xylitol might not be very detrimental to your health but be sure to avoid artificial sweeteners like aspartame and high fructose corn syrup

    When I was 6yrs old I was kicked in the face by a horse. They kept me on the couch for months. In my mid 20's a chiropractor discovered that my neck, jaw and cheek were broken. Now I'm 37. Recently my head hurt so badly I couldn't stand it. And there was all this vomiting. (Headaches, vomiting and so many other things are not new to me. My whole life I've been sick more often than not for what appears to be no reason for. No reason for fainting or anything else that always seems wrong with me.) The ER this time referred me to a neurologist but unfortunately my insurance isn't accepted. After watching your videos I at least finally understand why I'm sick all of the time and why I have all these other things. I wish I could get it fixed. Hi, I get black outs in my vision for a split second sometimes multiple times a day. however they’re not actually black, I can’t see and my vision is completely gone but it’s almost like going to left to right so quick I can’t see what’s in front of me. I’ve had an OCT scan and eye scan all said my eye was fine. What else could it be?

    Like previous poster I 100% agree
    It's mind blowing how ER drs, primary drs, and even neurologists treat you like your making stuff up and it's somatic
    Then you finally get into a good neurosurgeon who knows their stuff and the UNDERSTAND completely and explain what was going on and why and that the other were so far off and wrong
    I had a vertebral collapse got ACDF in nick of time and actually got approved for stem cell instead of artificial disc because I'm so young
    And yes even tho the injury and surgery gave me dysautonomia my vision issues , pain , and paralysis is gone !!
    I have a question if up to it without knowing much of background
    They said it's as if I have Ehlers-D in every way except I don't
    They don't know what to do but said I meet every qualification for it from the hyper mobility to the cranial instability and everything but I don't have ED i was negative on all tests
    What do you think it could be ? Just some other type of connective tissue disorder?
    My neurosurgeon said "you definitely have some type of connective tissue disorder going on idk why they didn't see any of those sooner you fit the bill
    But which one I have no clue "

    is there a reason why I could be seeing spiderweb/string like flashes in my vision when I jump up and down? Especially if I move my arms up and down (like with jumping jacks)? Is this a neck and shoulder issue? I have hyper mobility syndrome as well as muscle knots in my shoulders and neck.

    I have a question for you; how old are people that usually have this sort of thing happen to them?
    I'm 32, I've lifted weights for the last 12 or 13 years, and ever since I started lifting heavier weights back in college I have gotten ocular auras from time to time, and just recently I have had more floaters pop up very suddenly.
    My right eye often feels like it has all of a sudden become weaker and not able to focus correctly. I have frequent neck pain and feel like my neck needs to pop but I'm not able to find relief in doing it myself. I'm hesitant to go to a chiropractor because of stories I have heard but sounds like it might be more related to this.

      Hi Cerevo, So sorry that you are experiencing this for so long. We are seeing cases like this starting at younger and younger ages, even teenagers. Glad that you are doing more research into cervical spine instability and the connection to migraines and other terrible symptoms related to chronic vagus nerve injury. We have 3 webinars on our playlists about the vagus nerve that go into more details of symptoms and conditions that may sound like what you are dealing with. Maybe it'll help you in your search for answers. We would be happy to review your case in more detail and see if you sound like a good candidate for our clinics. You can feel free to reach out to us through our website or email. Wish you all the best in getting to the bottom of what is going on with your neck and how it could be affecting your vision and vagus nerve. Take care.

    It can be the ehlers syndrome that causes eye pain, I have a diagnosis of cervicalgia (surely cervical instability- I hear how my neck sounds when I move it, the lower part the stronger the click) symptoms such as recurrent migraines, mental slowness, mild dizziness , nausea. Unfortunately I had eye surgery and I am experiencing burning pain in my eye for almost two weeks now because of strabismus surgery, it has me crumbling and flattened, maybe the correction of instability helps some of the eye pain and dry eye syndrome? please an answer

I am interested in this video as the only type of pain I have experienced is ongoing neck pain since last summer after upping my cycling mileage during lockdown. Some days is better than others after I have found some stretches. The day before the double vision I was having a particularly bad day with neck pain. Is this linked to the double vision?

      @CaringmedicalProlotherapy  3 роки тому +1

      Hi S. M. - Thanks for sharing, and glad you are looking into some other possibilities of what could be going on after your eye exam came back normal. In our experience, this scenario is not uncommon. Our approach to these types of cases is to look at all of the symptoms patients are experiencing and see if there is a structural cause in the neck affecting the nerve functions of the eyes and/or other organs. Often, we find in patients that neck pain/tension/crepitation have become progressive symptoms that they are experiencing as well. In our office, we use motion testing like Digital Motion X-ray and other tests that look for cervical instability while the neck is moving, and vagus nerve function to help pinpoint if/where there are structural components causing the symptoms and then develop an individualized treatment plan. We specialize in Prolotherapy and curve correction, primarily, as methods of treatment. If you feel that you would like our team to review your case in greater detail to see if you sound like a good candidate for our center, you can reach out to us directly anytime. We wish you all the best in health and restoring the integrity of your spine to alleviate your pain and vision symptoms. Take care for now.

    is it possible that this is the case even if the eye doctor did a full checkup on the eye and reports no problems? I've been seeing static and spots in my vision and having light sensitivity and minor headache, along with inability for my right eye to line up properly, for about 2 weeks now, and it all lines up pretty solidly with a recent neck injury. this must be my problem, I hope to find someone in my area who can help solve it. Hi Colin, Good question and we touch on this further in this video: ua-cam.com/video/qrGZbc1_cts/v-deo.html specifically about cases where eye doctors couldn't find the problem. In our experience, it is often because they are looking at the eyeball and there is no problem there, it has more to do with pressure on the optic nerve sheath, for instance. I’ve had a seizure, pooling blood in SC numbness etc…
    Recently (past 2 years) the vision in my left I severely deteriorated.
    Now, I’m having strange skin issues I can’t get any answers on and wondering if anyone else has had these too:
    My left eye started with mild edema that at first I thought was hormonal considering my age and being female. However, it got darker and now is pooling in area all over my body. I’ve tried to drain it and it feels like a sticky oil is the best I can describe it.

    Hello Dr,
    I’ve been suffering from insomnia and tingling, numbness sensation on the right side of my face for almost 3 years. I’ve done multiple test and I’m still undiagnosed. Lately, I noticed that when I use an eye patch on my right eye, the tingling and pain sensation on the right side decreases significantly. The tingling, crawling, pulling sensation is not always on the same spot. It changes. And sometimes I feel it on the my scalp. I don’t sleep like before and I take meds to sleep but it doesn’t always work. I stopped using glasses years ago and I always have difficulty to see. Could it be that my eye nerve are inflamed? Hi Waqas, Sorry to hear about your advanced eye issues. We are not able to work directly on issues like retinal detachment, but we have seen issues with intermittent visual problems and optic nerve improvement when there is a link to cervical instability in the case causing vagus nerve impairment or blood flow problems. We'd be happy to review your case and symptoms in more detail to see if it sounds like further cervical instability testing would be appropriate for your case and if we feel you'd be a good candidate for our center. We wish you all the best in health.

    I woke up one morning with ringing in my ears and was seeing a red spot in my field of vision. I took anti biotics for h. Pylory 2 years ago and they damaged my vision. I have dimmed vision as a result of the anti biotics and still have gut, digestive issues. Is there a connection between the gut and the quality of your vision?

The vagus nerve is directly related to the function of our gut, as well as our vision an many other organs and how they function. No kidding.... you will see improvement in two days. After you feel stabilized about 30 days, you don't have to drink it every day. The kry is doing it on an empty stomach so first in a.m. is convenient. There is a doc in yt who has more data just do a search. drinking vinegar/ gut issues.

      In the patients we see, sometimes the visual problems are primarily in one eye, so it's not unheard of in our experience. As the video details, we help cases where the neck is the underlying issue as to why the symptom is occurring. If you feel that may be your scenario and would like to talk with our team here, you're welcome to reach out to us directly. Take care.

      Hi Abhi Hero, We do not see cases of full blindness here, most of the patients whom we help have these strange visual-related symptoms began after some kind of whiplash or other cause like chronic forward head posture and we can run various tests to see if it is being caused by neck motions and/or cervical dysstructure.

    I have a question. I get ‘normal’ eye-migraines, but also what they call visual snow. Could that also be because of cervical instability ? Same story ?
    I just had my 7 th prolo treatment and the eye problems seem to be getting less with every treatment. So I am hopeful, although I have no idea how much permanent damage I have because I have been dealing with it for a very long time and had some serious neurological injuries as well. Thank you for your wonderful information always.

    I have horrible visual problems like visual snow, bad floaters this is in both eyes as well as dry eye disease. I have cervical neck whiplash it’s a very old injury and my dr told me to try kinesio tape and when I placed it on my neck across c7 where I have a problem my visual sparkles increased I took the tape off and it went back to my regular amount of visual snow. Do you know if there is a success story on prolotherapy of the cervical spine in lessening of pixels in the vision, improvements of floaters?
