It is always pleasure and informative to listen to Mr Kishore Mahbubani expound his thoughts on geopolitical history and present global problems.

Kishore's prediction of South China Sea and China and India border dispute all proves to be correct, at least for 8 years

Very enjoyable. It's too bad talk shows like this don't catch the media highlight. I can see why Asian countries are on rise; if the leadership more or less are in tune of these long-term planning, how could they be on decline? Wish Canadian political parties listen to talks like this on regular basis.

That's why I get my news from CGTN and not American and Western media. CGTN simply reports news, documentaries and occasionally uplifting & constructive articles without the over-emotional, shrill and propagandist tone prevalent in the Western media.

CGTN would never be swayed by it's state ownership, just ask former anchor Cheng Lei

I used to trust western media, like BBC, CNN... not any more, western medias = lie manufacturers. I trust CGTN, but the problem is that Chinese media is boring, they only talk about FACTS which are boring most of the time, unlike western medias always judgemental by making up "interesting" stories and are good at pressing people's emotional button, and making people believe they are all independent thinkers.

Ninety per cent of the owners of capital in London have their headquarters offshore. Jersey and the Caymans are the access gates to criminal capital in Europe and the UK is the country that allows it. ‘London is the most corrupt city in the world’.

That the Security Council is not representative very well of Asia and Africa is a reflection of the fact that such representation wasn't intended. The Security Council was supposed to represent the nations that had some degree of power. That's also why the Security Council gets to make the actual decisions, not the General Assembly.

how do you call yourself an academic. you dare argue that you DO NOT know what level of restraint the US should show on the discussion on US SING relationship. IN the END, the general consensus, Singapore republic will never agree to how you will have restraint the capacity for singaporeans to give their best. fuck, call it the lack of singaporeans pursuing MPA. but it is a fact that both MALAYSIA and SINGAPORE is geopolitcally narrow in determining how relationships should be dealth with
