Your new room looks so nice! How do you like the oddly shaped tables so far? Do you have a video on your Thursday folders and the weekly report thing you mentioned when looking at your drawer? I'm curious about your deal drawer files in general. Paper is so hard. I teach 2nd and not sure if i want to do weekly or daily folders. I'd also love to see inside a drawer or two of your rainbow paper drawers. I'm thinking of trying that because I i also like organizing by subject instead of day. Are they wide enough to stagger stack a regular sized piece of paper? What do you do if something won't fit inside them?
I have a whole video that walks through how I organize and deal with paper here: ua-cam.com/video/SMUpTPdGOHk/v-deo.html The rainbow drawers are big enough to stagger stack and the best part! I can also fit books and other materials we may need for that subject in the drawers. They are by far my favorite drawers!
I am starting next week as a 5th grade teacher at a Catholic school. Your room is goals for me, lol. I’m a second career teacher, though I have worked in education before. I am looking forward to having my own classroom!
Hi! I’ve used so many of your great ideas, especially the “keep your own supplies”. How do you handle pencil sharpening since they keep their own pencils? Thanks!
I love that! I have a pencil supervisor job and they sharpen pencils at the end of the day. I just tell students if they need a sharp pencil for tomorrow to go get their pencil sharpened.
Hi Rachel, Do you all still do the little dance and stuff for the birthday celebrant in the classroom? BTW, have you ever thought about doing a teacher outfit of the day video? You looked pretty in this one. - Dwight
Yes, I do still celebrate birthdays with the dance and goodies! Students love it! I appreciate the comment on teacher outfits...but honesty that's not really my cup of tea. Others social media teachers are so much better at teacher outfits!
I love that your room is always looks calming and functional.
Thanks! This is the ultimate compliment!

That is awesome! I hope you have a wonderful year!
Hi! Great classroom! I was wondering where you got the table management chart from? Thank you!
From TPT! Here's the link: www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Behavior-Management-Brilliant-Behavior-Game-Board-Brights-9824429

Also, do you have a link for your schedule cards. I noticed that the ones you have this year are different than the ones you have in your TPT Store.
I don't have that version posted yet. It's on my to do list!

Hi Rachel,
Your class is extremely organized. Do you have a link for the green labels in your cabinet?
Thank you! I don't have them available anywhere. I just made them with a text box in PowerPoint.
@msrachelvincent Thank you. I will try that! 😃
