As an ex WeBuyAnyCar employee. The first buyer actually did wrong. They should have bought the car. Was always hammered in at the training they send you on that the only cars that shouldn't be bought are ones with theft markers and/or no V5. Everything else goes. I've bought several accident damaged cars on the back of wagons and MOT fails etc. Few dildos and some stickers? Ain't a problem.
Are you also trained to give advice to murderers on how to not get caught? Or was that employee just going above and beyond?

@@DjNikGnashers I'm genuinely curious as to why a scrapyard would pay that kind of money to scrap the car, do they somehow make the money back from stripping the car down and selling the parts?
@@Metalshark100 Yes, all of the different materials are separated at a car breakers, so only clean materials are weighed in, and the average family sized car is worth a lot more than £150 to the breakers, so they can usually offer that to the seller.

As a car dealer we've sent countless customers with horrendous hidden problems to them and true to form they bought them without a road test.
I could not believe they gave me almost $2,000 for my car. It was a piece of shit, and I was open with them that the engine needed about $5,000 in repairs and could break at any minute.
Holy moly, can't believe the second one bought the car and even helped them...

I'm genuinely surprised they wouldnt buy it. Surely it's easier to just offer like £20 and scrap the car, while hoping that the seller declines than to weasel some fine print into their motto to avoid it being a false promise?

Honestly thank you guys so much. I had emergency surgery at the weekend, and when I was bedridden in the hospital ward the original of this video popped into my subscription box.
