Thank you Nikki!! I'm so glad you liked it...On to europe for the next one...just have to sort out my photos and video and find 200 hours to edit! 😆 💕Louise
I absolutely loved this video. The film was amazing….Japan seems soooo beautiful and sharing a little of your experience there was so much fun for me. Your travel journal is wonderful so packed with memories! Your parcel to me arrived this morning and I opened that first as I couldn’t wait lol. I am blown away by your wonderful gifts….it was incredibly kind of you to think of me whilst on holiday. I’m so looking forward to seeing more of your travel journaling, huge hugs, Ali xxx
Thank you so much Ali! 🥰 I find Japan a very easy place to be (apart from the food). There are lots of very helpful and patient people. The attention to detail to make life a little easier is very inspiring. Even at the airport, at the luggage carousel there is a person who rotates the bags so that the handles face outwards for ease of collection. On the bullet train, even though there are bins in each carriage, an attendant does a walk through every 1/2 hour or so to collect. It's those small things that makes such a huge difference. 😃I'm so glad that your "souvenirs" have arrived, I really enjoyed collecting them for you! 😆I'm not really surprised you opened that first...I probably would have done the same!! Sending hugs back 💕😘Louise
A glorious Video of Tokyo and Kyoto…. actually brought a tear to my eye remembering our visit there about ten years ago. You got better views of Fuji, it was mostly cloudy when we were there, and it was also before I got into stationery so I never got to the Travelers Store …… I so regret that now but it just wasn’t on my radar back then. You were so lucky with the gorgeous colours in the trees…. I loved the little man carefully trimming tiny bits of leaves from the big tree….so careful to keep everything looking perfect ….. Japan was very special, very different to me coming from the UK…… thank you for the lovely memories video x
Hello Jean, thank you so much for watching and letting me know how much you enjoyed it! Japan is so very unique..we had more culture shock going from Japan to Germany than from Australia to Japan, which was interesting. We were lucky to see Mt Fuji everywhere..from the plane at sunset, from the train to Kyoto and then again back to Tokyo with more snow on its peak. Then from our apartment in Tokyo...like a sentinel...hopefully it remains benignly serene seeing it hasn't erupted for 300 years or so. The autumn foliage was amazing, especially as I live in the sub-tropics where it's hot for 9 months and then chilled for 3 and stuff flowers all the time. I got a little obsessed and had to cut out heaps of footage! Thank you for joining me Jean!💕 😃Louise
Oh Louise it is wonderful of you to share you holiday with us. I have been wanting until I had time to really enjoy the video and today I am starting to recover from the flu. Now I can’t wait for the next video.
Oh I'm so sorry that you've been unwell Sherry! Hopefully it is a speedy recovery from now. ☺️ Thank you so much for watching! It does take me awhile to edit the videos but I quite enjoy it. I'm hoping to have the next instalment before the end of February. 😅💕Louise
Hello Lyn! Thank you so much for watching, and leaving a comment! It is such an amazing country, I feel grateful for my experiences for sure. ☺️💕 Louise
Hi SquibbleDesign! Thank you so much for coming along on my video memories! I really loved seeing the different trees in their autumn finery. Quite a novelty for me as I live in the sub-tropics. Here it is hot for 9 months and chilly for 3 and there is always greenery. I was particularly excited about the Gingko trees and the (what I presume to be ) Japanese Maples. The colours were extraordinary! 💕😃Louise
I just loved seeing all the footage of the sites you explored in Japan Louise, just beautiful :) I'm so pleased that you had a great time and were able to make so many lovely memories and thank you for sharing them with us xx
Hello Jayne! I'm so glad you enjoyed my little video montage of Japan. I now have a further 5 weeks of travel videos to edit and curate! I'm not complaining though...it's nice to revisit. 😃 The kids and I did make lots of fun memories together and it was a different dynamic to travelling with the 4 of us. I missed my husband a lot though 😆 💕 Louise
Loved this and really looking forward to the next instalment. 😊
