Thanks. I will follow your video's directions when replacing the filter on my CBR. I think it's worth mentioning that you removed the air duct covers before the video. You actually will need more tools than shown. What's the torque for the fuel tank mounting bolts?
Due to the ram air intakes on the CBR do you find the filters get dirty very quickly? Is there a separate filter system inside the ram air ducts? I suspect all types of insects and water/dust etc. could make it's way into the air box with the design these bikes have, do you find this to be a problem?
It’s not that big of an issue where I live, the roads are quite clean. There is no additional filter in the ducts, at leas not on my CBR there isn’t. If Insects dust and all sort of rubbish gets into the air box the air filter is there to filter them out, never found it to be problem for me.
Thank you for your comment. I hate to disappoint you but the filter I use on my CBR is a K&N Performance air filter which is designed to be washable and K &N gives you lifetime guarantee. Stock paper air filters do not wash that is true.
Excellent straight to the point superb as always
Thanks Iain! 👍

New subscriber. Great video!
Thanks! 👍
Thumbs up! :D
I had trouble with the bottom of the filter not fitting because of the center screw I had to cut a little silicon to fix it

Yours was very simple. There was another guy who was really good too, but he ended up removing the fuel lines completely.
Do u need to remove fuel out tank
You shouldn’t need to, no.
You do realize that air filters do not wash up? This is why they are so cheap, you just replace them.
