I caught this tour back in October of 2016 in Durham. I got the VIP pass and got to meet them! I'm 40, and I have been a life long Yes fan. They were the first band I started buying albums for. I have more Yes albums in my collection than any other band. When I took up guitar lessons, Roundabout was the first song I learned. I had seen them twice prior with Anderson, Squire and Howe in the lineup, but never with Rick Wakeman nor Trevor Rabin. I avoided ALL recordings of prior shows of this tour, didn't look up the setlist, nothing. I wanted to be surprised. Big Generator was the album that got me listening to Yes back when I was only 7 years old, so I jumped out of my chair and totally lost my shit when they played this. They played SO many songs I had never heard live from seeing them before. I have every album, I can tell you the order of the songs on every one, and I know almost every song word for word. Seeing this concert was a dream come true for me, and they did an amazing job of playing songs both the "Classic" Yes era, and the more "mainstream" era such as Big Generator, 90125 and others. I was so happy from this concert I cried, no joke!
I have cried at almost all of the 40 shows I saw. Usually the Ander Squire Howe Wakeman and White. Impressive shows throughout the seventies. The Moraz lineup was also killer. Saw the 90125 lineup several times as well and equally impressive but apples and oranges.
In my opinion, there's only 2 keyboard players worth listening to.....The Wizard here, Mr. Rick Wakeman....and the master of the Hammond, Mr. Jon Lord (RIP).....we miss you Jon....
Not the most keyboards used during a yes concert, current keyboardist Geoff downes has the world record most keyboards used in a live setting at something like 21
Jon's voice is still fantastic. Also he looks great and *bang on* for the present moment. This is pretty much how a live gig should be recorded. I love it.
It's not samples. It's done via studio overdubs well after the gig. And then it's mixed. In all fairness, most bands do this to some degree. But ARW does it more than most and Rabin is known to have done that on his most recent live album to a high degree.
Can't believe how good they still sound, I really miss Chris Squire, I really didn't think the band could survive without him. I forgot how this band constantly changed lineups over the years and still goes on, a great tribute to Chris Squire who I will always consider the heart of Yes.
What a phenomenal version. Better than the record. I still can’t believe Jon can sing and sound like he did in his 20’s. No vocal damage after all these years. And Trevor, what a musical genius.
He doesn’t just look like a wizard with the cape, he is a wizard. The cape just adds the look. Wakeman is a genius. I would rank him up there with Keith Emerson.

That's a total joke. Real fans of a band don't ever say that one person IS the band, especially an ex member at that. Yes is doing just fine without these three asshats.
Yeah and the mixing all eras thing is a total joke too. This fake Yes plays songs from about 8 albums and nothing after 1994, while the real Yes has, over roughly the same period of time, played songs from about 17 Yes albums spanning the 60s-2014. So, like many of the members of the COA, the very opposite of what you say is actually reality. And it's a proven fact what I'm saying. Go to setlist dot fm or Forgotten Yesterdays and you will see I'm correct. It's all there in black and white. A little tip: a few minutes of research made BEFORE commenting can really go a very long way and keep you from looking ill informed and foolish.
Wow, settle down! So Steve Howe and Alan White are real Yes and the original vocalist for the band (the only ORIGINAL member in either band) and its best keyboardist is fake Yes? Not sure how you come up with that but whatevs. I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.
Well Kaye (who just did a whole tour with the real Yes), Bruford (who introduced them on stage this year) and Squire (who had an extremely large part in forming the current Yes lineup).....THREE ORIGINAL members....endorse the real Yes and NOT the joke cover band that is ARW. Those are facts as is everything else I said. There's nothing to agree nor disagree with. (And if you say that the sun sets in the east...which wouldn't surprise me as it follows your same type of logic......then I will call you out on that too. Lol.)
So the fact that the only original member of Yes who is still touring is in this version, and the original voice of the band, is NOT Yes? Kaye, Bruford and Squier are NOT touring as Yes. And let's be honest, Rick Wakeman is the best keyboardist the band ever had. Not taking anything away from the others (I love Geoff Downes), but Rick is the prog keyboard GOD! And to be honest, what Howe, Squier and White did to Jon when he was ill and could not tour is abhorrent. It's their fault the band is not whole, not Jon's. Personally, I look at it this way: I love Yes and now I have TWO versions of the band touring, both with qualified members. I will see either one of them if they come to town, without question. I certainly wouldn't dis the ARW version. Guess that makes me a better fan.
Michael Ehlert spot on, this isn’t just “good for 2018” this is a great version period. The presence of both Jon and Trevor Rabin makes it possible. The bass is good. Rick Wakeman is a hero in any place he appears.
The more I see this, the more I miss YES WEST. Something really Special about that period. They kept alot of prog roots, thanks to Chris. Trevor changed it up a bit, because of his musical background. Pop and Orchestral. YES now appealed to so many more. It's a very romantic, "hip" sexy pop feel( if u will), and had this Great Musicianship that YES always has. TALK was outstanding. From the song writing, Vocals, and Production. Thank You Trevor Rabin, OUTSTANDING.
This song is so cool, I just love it! And it sounds great live too! They still have it! Even though the members aren’t the same! Actually they are better!
I first heard of Yes way back in High School and the album was 90125. Hearing all the past music from them in the 70's, I became a huge fan. I've seen both Yes bands and think there both great. But with Jon Anderson's voice, ARW got the edge!
Yes has the edge by actually being Yes and having the longest serving members. I'm a Rabin fan too but he now plays in a Yes cover band. It's sad really.
If there is one classic rock singer whose voice has generally stayed the same, it is Jon Anderson's. He never ceases to impress me as the decades roll by.
WOW..... soooooo happy to see Jon again! For me... he is YES, and will always be... and Trevor Rabin, I LOVE the Rabin years... and the of course Rick Wakeman... oh my gosh! Stunning... just stunning! This is it as far as I am concerned!

Amazing performance! Yes never disappoints. Trevor was really on fire, great vocal, guitar and gorgeous as ever. Jon's voice is still outstanding!🌹😘
Шикарно! Тридцать лет слушаю этих парней и не могу наслушаться. Вот, культура!
Best voice in the whole of Rock music..
Incredible! I love those capes that Rick wears!
I'm from argentina and love yes
Simply awesome! Yessss!
Just love this. Great version. Mr Pom smashes it bass wise.
Ese es mi Yes,banda sonora de mi vida ...La voz de Jon esta espectacular!
Это великолепно, ребята!
Much better than any pill for depression. Wonderment and incredible journeys.
You bet. Music is the universal healer. ❤
THIS IS THE SOUL AND SPIRIT OF YES !!!
Супер!! Андерсон и Рэбин это мощь! Вот это действительно Yes !!!
This is what i call "YES"
"
Love the band. Lead g. Is bad ass
As good as it gets and Lee and Lou ... what great additions great musicians To round out the band. Trevor Rick And Jon. A perfect circle
I'm so lucky to have seen Yes 6-7 times between 1974 and 1988 or so. ,
What an amazing night that was. To be so close to my hero's set right at the front. Lee was brilliant.
Una de las bandas mas bestiales del progresivo simplemente genios musicales
So good
Anderson Rabin Wakeman on the same stage oh my. What a dream come true!
Music that soars through my soul, even farther to the Heavens with such clarity and masterful genius! God Bless!!! ❤❤❤
OMG this is so AMAAAAAAAZING!!!!!!!!!! Rick's solo - man this is incredible!
This just blows Howe’s Yes straight out of the water. This lineup of the band is clearly superior. I wish it continued.
Anything that is YES is always welcome.
I much prefer Steve Howe’s virtuoso guitar.
How does Jon Anderson do it? Amazing. Love WILL find a way!
Top musicians, live to everyone who experiences it in our own world, lifts my heart, my energy, my soul, bless
Rick Wakeman that Wizard 🎹
This song is so cool, I just love it! And it sounds great live too! They still have it! Even though the members aren’t the same! Actually they are better!
❤ Grazie Jon Anderson Maestro della Voce, ti amiamo!!
Yes is the best band
Oh YES
I first heard of Yes way back in High School and the album was 90125. Hearing all the past music from them in the 70's, I became a huge fan. I've seen both Yes bands and think there both great. But with Jon Anderson's voice, ARW got the edge!
Yes has the edge by actually being Yes.
They’re all fucking yes
Yes has the edge by actually being Yes and having the longest serving members. I'm a Rabin fan too but he now plays in a Yes cover band. It's sad really.
@@donutcookiepie What's truly sad is a fuckwit fantasist loner like you constantly abusing people who express perfectly legitimate opinions.
Phenomenal live performance! Incredible live sound! True nusicians!
If there is one classic rock singer whose voice has generally stayed the same, it is Jon Anderson's. He never ceases to impress me as the decades roll by.
Amazed at Rick Wakeman playing the Moog with just his right hand.
WOW..... soooooo happy to see Jon again! For me... he is YES, and will always be... and Trevor Rabin, I LOVE the Rabin years... and the of course Rick Wakeman... oh my gosh! Stunning... just stunning! This is it as far as I am concerned!
These guys are playing with joy in their hearts and its obvious. The arrangements sound so fresh and energized. To quote another commenter, we should feel lucky the guys are still out there playing their asses off. I for one am looking forward, albeit somewhat wistfully, to the 2020 farewell tour...and still desperately hoping they do CTTE one last time
Rick rockin' the cape.
Such a stylish guy.
Cuanta delicia auditiva. Una clara muestra que el arte en su máxima expresión es eterno!!!.
They sound so so so good! This is the standard! If you're an older group, you have to be able to hit this bar.
Saw them in 2002 and earlier in 1974.....still got it!
