I make crochet blankets for animal rescues. I often use the waffle stitch as it is nice and squishy for dogs/cats to lay on. The traditional waffle stitch worked in rows does have a definite right and wrong side. This is a fabulous technique...thank you so much...and this is going in my pattern archive for the doggy blankets. You just made my projects so much easier. 🤗
Hi, this is just perfect. I have been searching a long time for a square waffle blanket in the round but there was always something that wasn’t quite right and most of them turn the work. With yours there’s no turning and it works out perfectly. Thank you so much for posting this video. I absolutely love your patterns and started on this today. Thank you 😊
So glad I found your channel in my feed today! I signed up right away. Love the idea of the double crochet as the last stitch in the corner and see this having sooooo many aplications for other crochet projects. I am going to try this for all the granny squared I work from now on. Don't know why I've never seen this before but it's so much better than slip stitching over. This is a lovely stitch/pattern idea for a blanket and it does look lovely & finished on the backside. Thank you for sharing and doing the video. I'm a visual learner and just watching this I'll have it memorized and this helps bunches over reading patterns. In jr high our math teacher explained there are 2 types of learners. People who read and understand best & people who are shown and learn best for them. I'm ok with charts and most patters but, patterns just aren't always written well or are written from the perspective of someone who already knows how to do it. I'm an advanced crocheter and love all the videos as it has given me & I'm sure others oodles more items to make due to so many videos now. Your video is greatly appreciated. 🫶🧶🌸

You're most welcome. :)
I’ve always been too intimidated to even bother with this. You just made it so easy for me! Thanks🙏
Yay, that's wonderful :) Enjoy!
Beautiful stitch. Lovely blanket.
Thank you :)
Thank you for uploading this video, very helpful.
Could you use a magic ring?
That would be an easy substitution if you wanted to do that instead. Just personal preference.
