- Two members of the royal family alleged to have raised “concerns” about the skin colour of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s son have been named in a new book.
The Dutch version of Endgame by Omid Scobie was pulled from shelves after early reviewers spotted it mentioned an individual who was said to have questioned Archie’s skin tone before he was born
TalkTV’s Piers Morgan took the decision to name the pair, saying the British public had a right to know as Dutch readers were aware of their identities.
But TalkTV’s JJ Anisiobi tells Ian Collins that according to insider royal sources: “King Charles and Kate Middleton are not the royal racists in question.”

The one that’s really lazy is the couple on the other side of the pond that only worked 52 hours last year and got paid 13 million dollar for that work. Even Harry and his wife haven't been clear as to what was actually said, before Archie's birth. They just said "conversations about his skin color" - which could be nothing or everything. Some people are more sensitive than others. Being Chinese/Vietnamese, we know our children will come out with black hair and brown eyes. What we ask ourselves about our unborn children are:
1. What shape will their eyes be? Will they be small or big?
2. What skin tone will they be? Will they be white? Will they be yellowish? Will they be brown?
3. I hope the baby will have a nice nose. A high nose bridge is preferred but we will take not too flat and broad.
Etc, etc. When I married a white man, we wondered everything from eye and hair color to shapes of facial features. I do not find it racist to wonder.

If it wasn't Charles or Kate but another person that had this conversation with Harry, why has Harry not come forward to say it wasn't them. Exactly, I think she was most concerned about the skin color and appearance of her children because she always identified as a Caucasian herself and never showed her naturally curly hair.
Being a mixed race male who married in to a middle class white family, 40 years ago I know the question was discussed within my wife’s family and it was something which I also questioned at the time. It can go I was told three ways, the child is white, brown or black, In the event my daughter was white and my son has olive skin and I love them both. I think it’s a legitimate question of curiosity not signs of racism ….
As a woman of color, my family and my husband’s family speculated what our children would look like. Certainly the color of their skin was discussed. I guess both our families are racist, as are we. It is human nature to wonder what a baby will look like. As Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. said, the only way to get rid of racism is to stop talking about it.
I'm also mixed race and don't believe they are racist. After all, the Royal family already has African heritage. Catherine and William's daughter was named after Queen Charlotte, who was a direct descendent of the beautiful African Islamic Oruano and King Alfonso of Portugal. Queen Charlotte's features most closely resembled another of her African Islamic ancestors, Ines, who married Oruana and Alfonso's son Martin.
Like Meghan, Queen Charlotte had pale skin paired with African features. That's where the similarities end. Queen Charlotte insisted that any portraits altering her features to make her look more Caucasian must be redone with her true African features. On the other hand, Meghan had plastic surgery to alter the shape of her African nose to Caucasian. Earlier this year she released a series of photos of herself growing up where her face had been photoshopped to have her post cosmetic surgery features. I'm mixed race myself and prefer her pre-plastic surgery face.
The funniest part here is that the one senior royal who was questioning whose genes, whether Memegain's or Harold's, would prevail was Harold himself. How ironic. It was in some interview, that he jokingly admitted he thought his genes must be weaker and said something like 'haha, guess I was wrong' in the end.

My son is British Indian / Finnish and we all wondered if he’ll have blonde hair green eyes like his father or black/brown hair with brown eyes like me. We all suspected his skin will have a beautiful shade of white/brown. I never took either side of my families AS racist. Just an excited bunch of people all round enjoying the news we were pregnant and expecting a boy.

Okay, if that’s true, and it wasn’t even Charles or Catherine, then the Harkles really needed to come forward and say it’s not them. The fact that they haven’t is shocking. All of this speculation started because of their mud slinging. If a conversation really did happen, and they know who it is, how can they allow innocent people to be slandered in this way? It’s repulsive. Scooby, Harry and Meghan really need to be sued at this point. You can’t just throw a bomb like that and allow the entire family to be under suspicion when it was only one unknown person, and we still don’t even know the real context of what was said and what the intent was. My husband is of Māori descent and I have very pale skin with auburn hair. When we were having our first baby, many comments were made wondering how dark the babies skin would be. At no time did my husband or his relatives ever take a offence, as it was mostly his relatives, who were wondering even asking how white would they be. Was I offended not at all. It was a commonly asked question even total strangers would ask. As long as a question is not cause to offend but Is more out of curiosity Then that’s not offensive and should never be taken as such.
And after all, it was not said to Megan as she had stated, and Harry couldn’t even get on the same page as her to get their story straight.
I know racism is out there and needs to be stamped out, but stories like this only goes to show the person who is a racist look at how much trouble they’ve tried to make over nothing so typical jumping on the racism card.
