- Piers Morgan Uncensored begins his show by announcing that he will be the first to announce the two people named in the Dutch version of Omid Scobie's book who were thought to have had a conversation about baby Archie's skin.
After naming the pair, Piers is then joined by Dutch royal journalist Rick Evers, royal biographer Tom Bower and royal editor of the Sunday Times Roya Nikkhah to further debate these claims and discuss Omid Scobie's book. They also discuss in more detail Meghan Markle's original claims of racism against the Royal Family and her previously admitting to being a source for one of Scobie's previous books.

Does anyone else think that the baby’s eye, hair and skin color is a perfectly normal conversation? I do! Families speculate about a new baby all the time. He or she? Blonde like dad or brunette like mom? Blue eyes or brown? Dad’s big ears? Mom’s curly hair? Even skin color: Moms very fair skin or skin that tans instantly like Dad’s.
She said ‘concerns and conversations about how dark…’ which implies they were concerned about how dark they’d be. Not fun speculation. They were literally worried about it.
My granddaughter is white, black, Mexican (Hispanic), Native American is married to a white/Spanish. We had a pool $5 a square if there was a correct pick the winner got the $$ if no one picked the correct square the baby got it. Does that make the family racist?

We don’t know that they were concerned at all. Then Harry gobsmacked everyone by denying in an interview that the conversation had even happened! The story makes press for Meghan which is all she wants.

Well, she said they had "questions and concerns", depending on which definition they were using, the word "concerns" could have just been synonymous "with "regards to" or "pertaining to". it could have easily been worded they had "questions with regards to his skin colour" which would been exactly the same thing as "question and concerns about his skin colour" but a different meaning than saying they were "worried" about it. Harry said it wasn't racist, he also said Meghan didn't say it was racist, so maybe it was just in the context I mentioned, in which case (as they both stated) it would not be racist at all, rather just questions most families have regarding the features of any unborn child.
Again, they love to play semantics, so we need to pay attention when they use words which have more than one meaning.
There was no racist comment. Catherine wouldn't treat children that way. Meghan's determined to try and ruin her no matter what. Yet although her hatred is scary the RF will be more loved and respected all the more.

By the way, anyone wondering whether King Charles is racist, go back and re-watch Megan and Harry's wedding and notice how kindly and warmly he received Megan inside the church in place of her own father.

Also the way in which he and Camilla treated Doria. They invited her to their home and treated her with respect and he held her arm and helped her out of the church and down the stairs. She was the only one of Meghan's family at the wedding and they did not leave her to feel alone and out of place. How can Meghan possibly say he is racist. Also, does the book actually say Catherine, or just Princess of Wales because at that time technically, Camilla was the Princess of Wales, although she chose to go by Duchess of Cornwall.

I'm glad that Piers did this, but there's a bit of a catch: The book (apparently) simply said "Princess of Wales". This is important, because at the time, it could be argued that Camilla was the Princess of Wales, though she never used the title. If they actually meant Kate, then it is what it is, though sloppy. If they were referring to Camilla, it's probably a ploy to damage Kate's reputation without explicitly naming her, maintaining the safety net of "we were technically right" if challenged. If so, then Harry, Meghan, and scobie are all psychopaths.

BUT, Charles is mentioned in that paragraph as "KING Charles" followed by "the Princess of Wales", so, logically, NOW Charles is the King therefore the mentioned Princess of Wales is the NOW princess, Catherine. In the paragraph is also mentioned something else about Kate, that she never wanted to discuss the matter again, or something similar. HER name is in there, NOT Camilla's.

As a professional translator with a BA and MA in trilingual translation and cross-cultural communication, I assure that such errors are NOT possible in the translation of a book. A book goes through several stages of translation, many stages of editing, proofreading before it gets published and sent to bookstores. It's a very serious process and the text passes through several people. There is no way such a mistake would go unnoticed by so many people. This entire situation is offensive to our intellects.

If you notice, in the Oprah interview MM uses the plural “conversations” not just 1 conversation. Later, mealy mouthed Harry says he doesn’t want to talk about it. I remember reading his book and the comment allegedly from Camilla, then Princess of Wales, about a potential baby having a ginger Afro and Harry laughing about it until Meghan heard about it later and, clearly hating her natural hair, told him it was terribly racist and he should be outraged by it. If this is the comment that they are referring to, is it possible that, given the timeline that Omid allegedly wrote this book, they are actually referring to a comment by the FORMER Princess of Wales but are keeping it deliberately vague to smear Catherine because Meghan hates her so much? Someone brought this up on another thread, the idea that maybe the person who made the innocent comment at the time was Camilla and they not only blew it up into something it wasn’t but left the identify of the person vague to sow maximum distrust and damage. Was CATHERINE mentioned by name? Or just the title, Princess of Wales? Of all the people that could have been named as the second “Royal Racist” Catherine never even crossed my mind.

No one has ever mentioned anyone who was present in the conversation except for Harry being there. If 5 people were named who were present, and Catherine's name was one of them, I wouldn't just cross her name off as the one who definitely didn't mention it. I don't know her, or any of them in the conversation, and why any of them would or wouldn't mention what the possibility of skin color of any of Harry's & Meghan's children would mean. And to whom it would mean something? A grandfather? A grandmother? An aunt? The monarchy? The public? Does a baby's skin color matter so much to people? I don't think it meant much to Harry or Meghan. People thought Diana was a suitable bride for Charles & Camilla was not. The British RF still seems so concerned more with wealth, power & image than anything else. Diana was good enough until she wasn't. And Camilla wasn't good enough until she was. No matter what, I don't think Meghan was/is ever going to be viewed as good enough by some, and for various reasons.

As an African American I am reminded of the latest Chris Rock Netflix special when he mentioned how the color of a baby’s skin is a normal conversation in our community. If we don’t know the context of the conversation, we cannot know if this statement was intended racism or normal curiosity. In any case, if we can’t have the conversation, we cannot have a solution. Even if they asked the question in fear of the eventual skin color, this would have been a chance to educate. No matter, if Meghan wasn’t in the room and this was a family conversation, it wasn’t her story to tell. Family conversation should be private.

As a mother to 3 mixed race children, my MIL and I discussed the colour that each of the children would be, what hair colour and type, what eye colour as my MIL herself was mixed race. It's normal, there's nothing bad about it.
Depends on the context. If you have mixed race children, don't die on the hill to defend those who wouldn't hesitate to look down on your children for their race because history shows these people are blood and soil types.
