Okay, as a Christian who attended a very Jewish school, and who went to temple with friends a bazillion times, you are the first rabbi I have EVER heard say spirits go to heaven, and I asked a lot of them their thoughts. Most say they don't know, and mumble about sheol, as both a physical grave and a land of the dead, but not a coexistence with God.

Some people can be aware tho. There are various methods to achieve a merging of our individual consciousness with the source of creation that is throbbing within us. That’s the real you. The essence of being. Some people find it through religion. Some people use meditation. Some people have NDE’s. Some people loose everything then surrender to it. Some people take LSD or DMT. There are ways. But it’s always up to the individual to connect. Most peoples enlightenment come at the hour of their death. God
Lot of misunderstanding in comments. Would be nice to address. For example, many believe Hell is a Jewish idea and the resurrection is Christian when in fact it is the exact opposite. Also, resurrection has almost nothing to do with the physical "dust" bodies we currently inhabit.
You go down to Sheol, the righteous to Abrahams’ side, the unrighteous to torment until the day of the judgment, those in the Lambs’ book of life will be raised to eternal life and to those whose names are not found in His book will be cast into the lake of fire, which is the second death. Repent the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
It does lead to a number of questions though ...where do all the new souls come from given the massive population explosion on planet earth over the last 10,000 years ?
Question if you go to hell but you have the living word of God in you it’s alive. When he said although I’m dead yet I live or when he said if I’m in hell you are there if I go to the dee water you are there or high in the stars you are there. Where the Spirt of God there Is freedom.
Heaven is a place where only the believers in one God and the one got forgiven will go. Hell is a place where the nonbelievers and the sinners will burn until purify. Both Heaven and hell are places. One for pleasure one for punishment.
Rabbi I ask. Is there not a place of torment saved for those who have disobeyed His commands and if so, were those that chose to be apart from Him, will they not get their wish of being without His blessing? Thus what most would recognize as hell?
According to the rabbi there is no such thing as hell only a type of purgatory. In which the soul is cleansed before moving on. He speaks about that specifically in other videos
No there isn't. If there was we'd all be there. Who hasn't 'sinned'? Which person's sins are worse? By G-d's standard or our own? And which person's is the one for humans since everyone has a different one? See the slippery slope here?
@@waltershumer4211 not exactly 'purgatory' either. It's a place where we wait until the attachment to earthliness dissipates enough to continue on to heaven.
We come from God and to God we return. Then we will be judged by our creator according to our deeds on earth. Heaven and hell are NOT the same. God is the most merciful, but he is also severe in punishment. Which afterlife do we prefer? Again, Heaven and Hell or not the same.

Your physical body will no longer cease, nor will it be ready or be a vessel for you ever again. Your conscious will be delivered back into the cosmos with what it already learned throughout its lifetime. Now I don’t know who created these type of cycles, but your consciousness is like a wave that splashes on the beach . But it always goes back out to see just to come back in again! I believe we are reincarnated into another person to live again however, without the prior knowledge, consciousness and feelings of the previous person, we once operated. Meaning, it won’t be like Groundhog Day where every day you keep living over and over again, each and every time it will be brand new, no matter if you’re a genius or a multibillionaire! When you die, you start back from square one with a memory bank, brand new to learn new things, etc.

It is a reincarnation between Ben Yosef and Ben David
