I have a 256gb sd card that used to work great but now my laptops don't and my phone does not recognize it at all, nothing comes up, no promp. No message, nothing. Would an sd card reader help? I am thinking that if the computer and phone dont recognize it, that it migjt be the same with a reader. Please advise. TIA❤
@hazelpascual5826 few days later i took my flash drive to a data recovery center. They recovered all my pictures and videos, it did costed alot of money but its worth it because what's inside had emotional value, u should find a data recovery center near u, don't try to do anything on your own it will mess up the flash drive even more
After completing it's showing " Windows has scanned the file system and found no problem " ....but I can't see any of the files .. videos pics......now what next it didn't work 😒

Thx dude, it worked for me :) When the command checking mine MicroSD, there a lot corrupt data of mine, but in the end, finally i can access my MicroSD from my phone and my corrupted data transform into .CHK, that another story to recover my corrupted data / convert to original extention.
@@stegosaur9812 u can restore to original file with some apps or other method, i forgot the apps what i used, but u can find it by searching dude.... Hope this help
You just saved me, I had a local marriage ceremony I had not backed up. Card asked for format. Thank God I recovered after many attempts. Maybe for those who didn't succeed, here is a tip if your SD CARD is G make sure you use G as location only and /f not G AND G as I also failed many attempts. Example: chksdk G: /F But not : chksdk G: /G unless your disc is F that's when you can use both F: /F

it says windows cannot run disk checking on this volume because it is write protected
I did that but there no problem in my sd card. And in pc its shows all the pictures, but in my phone it shows like corrupted
The android part of my otg moves back into the drive it self and the drive card comes out

With the name of your file eg: E: add f
