Thank you so much. I've tried popular recovery software, that didn't help. Followed your first option to resolve the corrupted disk: in command prompt to fix the d: drive. It identified a couple of corrupted files, and fixed the lot. Took about 1hr30. I've made a fresh copy of the retrieved sd card. And am so grateful to you. Much appreciated.

Checkout Computer Device Manager if your device appears their or not and if not then your SD card won’t work and if yes then there is some chance that it might work

Based on my experience after format also data recovery is possible. If in case card has any bad sector then some files may miss and can't be recovered.

Please Help! This morning I put my card into the card reader that came when I bought my camera, and I was able to transfer about 14 files then got an error message saying the card needed to be formatted and I couldn’t access the pics any more. I ejected the card and put into my camera and got the same message. I’m devastated. I had over 10000 files (raw + jpeg) on that card! Your SD card might have become raw, so try using one of the recovery software as trial version and see if that works or not and then comment here, will help you with next possible step.

Can windows corruption any pen drive? My 32gb SanDisk pendrive just got..which was just replaced 2 days earlier, when I tried do delete some files from it(write protected?
please check if that Pendrive has any notch to slide for notch protection or check out my another video for write protected issue and link is available in video description.
Windows cannot corrupt pen drive but first you will have to verify if your computer configured to show your pendrive as write protected or not refer same video link is in my description

Due to perfume if it’s wet then there is very less chances of recovery.

Yes, there are chances 40% to 60% data can be recovered but for that you will have to use recovery software it could be paid/free...

Can you try fixing bad sector if any present in your storage device because bad sector usually cause issue in reading the data

Look like you have encrypted your ad card in phone, so decrypt the ad card and then try to use in laptop.

It probably because you're using very old card or duplicate (compressed) card

Can windows corruption any pen drive?
My 32gb SanDisk pendrive just got..which was just replaced 2 days earlier, when I tried do delete some files from it(write protected?
please check if that Pendrive has any notch to slide for notch protection or check out my another video for write protected issue and link is available in video description.
Windows cannot corrupt pen drive but first you will have to verify if your computer configured to show your pendrive as write protected or not refer same video link is in my description

i asked about windows because this is the 2nd drive that got curropted .sandisk have send me this as replacemet .i only used this for 2 days
Verify your registry & group policy settings to avoid this issue if it’s related to windows or you may try checking on another PC
