I been pretty impressed with the Speedi and its ability to cook a whole meal in one pot. I tried them pressure cooker pots cooking 2 separate things at once but none have really worked. Every time it has in this speedi no matter what tried, meat, vegetables or starch. BJs has so many mix bags of vegtables that makes meal very easy to make. Ninja has a winner in a long line of winners here

    Good to see you back!
Still new to the Speedi here, and the US specific parts of your channel make me a bit jealous.
But I've found a few things out too.
Steamed rice with frozen veg in is super easy. But I still struggle with the "one cup rice, two cups water" thing. Anyone else find this doesn't work?
But best of all, (and topical, maybe)? Hash browns from frozen. I've never ever got them right in an oven. Speedi; nailed it first time.
And no; that's not a meal. And it's not why I got a Speedi.
But it's so good to finally get them right! They actually have a taste!
Buy hashbrown shares, people; they are going to be da thing. 😂
For the purposes of this channel, though, I'd love to see more ballanced meals and Speedi stuff.
As with the microwave in 1990, I just don't think people have caught up with what they can do.
But I've actually seen cooking instructions for air cooking on a bag of frozen fries. So that's promising.
I look forward to what you have for us to cook next.

Thanks James. Love your Speedi Cooks. You do great 'normal' every day meals. That's what most people want. Although I can't get half the ingredients you use (a Brit in Southern Spain), I can adapt and your tips are so helpful. Thank you 🎉

Jim, you are a genius. I did the frozen pigs in a blanket and tater tots. They turned out great. This is the only way I would make the tater tots. Great for party appetizers.
I am going to try your Cornish Hen recipe.
The steam and crisp is so much better than air frying. Is it the same time as air frying?

This is awesome! I was wondering how to do tater tots in the Ninja Speedi. Will this also work with the little pigs-in-a-blanket instead of the corn dogs? I love to see more quick lunches.

Good to see you back :) What model of the Speedi do you have? I almost bought one today but it is the SF300 and wanted to check out different models before I decide to purchase.

@@CookinWithJames my Walmart has the SF300 for $119 with 10 functions & the other model SF301 has 12. I think I will just go get the one from Walmart because I don't need the dehydrate function on the other ones :) BTW, thank you for your quick reply :)

How can you tell the timing on certain foods? And does everything has to be hard and crisp?

@@CookinWithJames yeah but complete meal. Sometimes other have things you haven't thought of. Seen 2 videos on making burgers but I liked your method because meat sat on bottom why frys on top. Reason bought second crisper tray to keep burgers above the fluid
