When I first saw Brown Sugar art the Volcano My. Tabor Park. I was inspired to learn the harp. I also attended film school at Portland State and made pilgrimages to Long Hair Music Faucet buying and studying harp players on vinyl. I swear to God that I began playing a kazoo. Eye witness Dion's writer Jan Johnson observed all of this. "Sweet Pea" song. Tiny Face. Also his song about his grandmother opened my eyes to tat spirituality leading to my film "Grey Skies" Jan saw me trying to blow in clubs. More emotion than music. Learned music on piano . Studied music with Dr.Klement Hambourg and Literature of Black. America,George Slawson. Essay on blues.
Visited Takoma Records 1974.Sharing early visual art. Fahey and Pice moved to Salem 1983. Lived with John,hung with him continuously . He lived with Blind Owl Alan Wilson also. Eventually music school.

Good job. Saw Paul play at VortexI. Met Tom McCall later working w John Wayne's Cameraman at KATU
Candy Givens best the doc of all us harp players. Saw her w English John Feb.1970 who also tucked Johnny Almond,Duster Bennet into his suitcase Paul got a bad rap. FBI arrested any antiwar protester then.
Supported his band then as NoDelay Band at the club west end of Burnside.

He is blowing standard cross harp. Would have take an instrument out. A lot of blues is in the key of E which would be an A harp. Easier to tell at low end. Since real bass w exception of a G harp.
