your speech is very very good and it not only hear on ears it sits into my brain. awesome deliver. not so fast no so slow. perfect pitch words. i totally love it.
Man I feel you like a friend through the screen hahaha. It may sound weird but you really do catch people attention (Im sure Im not the only one who can agree with this) Keep up the good work and sharing your experience and knowledge we all appreciate it
Very nice talk. I am 51 and started 3D with my AMIGA 1000 in 1987. When you are young and full of passion and energy for this profession you might be able to work in hardcore mode a lot. But if you don't find a balance and you experience up and downs you will burn out definitely when you get older and then you keep burned out because and all this was a long term process and happens out of a sudden. And then you don't really get rid of it anymore. So be careful and learn to manage your time and perfectionsim ... for a healthy work-life-balance. Especially in our times of digital revolution where people communicate in realtime, consume media all the time, play games ... have too many interests, want to do everything and keep on fragmenting their 24 hours to the max.
Thank you very much for your comment and your input. I guess I can apply this to myself as I’m struggling with work-life balance... I’ll remember your advice 😊
omg it feels like u made this video just for me....at a time in my life when i need this god just blessed me to find your page random. dude this was just the wind i needed to keep my wings flying.....if i was rich id hop a flight and find u irl and bless u.......u just dont know how much your videos helping me bro... i damn near got tears in my eyes
Great statement! I just experienced a creative block as well. I tried too hard to find new ideas that I didn't find any. Also, it's hard to be creative only from home. Seeing the same things, feeling the same things - it doesn't help. I often think being creative means creating something entirely new from scratch, but that is not true. It doesn't mean I have to create every asset by myself or else it won't be "my work". There's too many moments in which I think it would make me a better artist if I did everything from scratch and by myself but in fact it's actually just keeping me away from being productive and bringing ideas to life. Happy creating everyone!
Oh my god, I feel like you took my whole burden I had recently. I'm truly burned out, even to the point I couldn't feel many emotions. I'm just existing so I'm so surprised your speech made my cry. Like a little light in the darkness. Thank you so much for your video! Keep doing what you do!
Hey Andrey, i normally dont comment something very often on youtube. Maybe you never read this, but i have very much respect for what you are doing . your videos spread hope and makes it better for many to understand that they are not alone with these kind of things.the most of us are not starting from the same spot in life. you have to work to get there where someone else is starting from. thanks man greetings from germany :)
I am so glad that i found your channel. I stoped working with CG, eventhough i learned at school, since i doubted myself for all the reasons you mentioned. 6 Years later after orienting my live towards IT i started doing some designs again and it feels so good to be back. This video is giving me the last push. Thank you for the great content!
Aww that last line actually left me teary eyed and put.a wide smile on my face. Thanks for the inspiring words! Now I'm pumped to better myself in the creative industry, I've been feeling pretty down lately because of a recent project, so thank you!
Acho que sou um dos primeiro seguidores que vc tem de lingua portuguesa... Mais Andrey acredita, a tua falta de inspiração acaba sendo a minha verdadeira inspiração. é muito bom ouvir-te sempre brother. fica bem e um abraço.
It's good to hear things like this coming from artists just like me. Thanks for being this open about it and sharing your thoughts with us. You definitely deserve a sub.
This is an amazing video talking about a common issue that happens with most of us and probably in every market segment that requires creativity. I have pushed myself too hard into something that i was simple stuck at it and not progressing, that i have eventually got sick by pushing my body over the limits. Right now i am doing what i can, and when i can. Like this i felt like many ideas just surfaced out of nowhere, walking around, taking inspiration from nature, people surrounding us. After doing this, i have noticed that the Projects ends up way better and quicker with much less effort that used to put on it. Amazing advice! Keep up with the great content!
Great advice! I found that not torturing myself and doing something else to get my mind off not working has really helped... especially with walking outside with my dog.
from the last week I started learning c4d ....i got frustrated.......while looking out for an break i saw this video.......thankx man...u just gave me a boost
Thank you my man. I've been struggling at work (I'm a 3D Designer for an ad agency), and this video really helped put things into perspective. It's hard to go from being one of the best in college to being the worst at work, surrounded by professionals who are miles better. I've had very hard days where I can't produce anything near as quality as the studio needs, and there's a chance I'll get fired because I'm too slow. But I'll never give up on my dream. Thanks for reminding me what I already knew! You're awesome brother.
This really helps even after 9 years in the industry I get caught up in thinking that maybe I'm not special and reminders like this are so extremely helpful to me. Thanks Andrey!
Ive seen this video even after 2 years uploading it it inspired me very much actually I am in India just a beginner in CGI I was following you from beginning of 2020 but now I came to see your this vieo Creative Blocks also caught me up while working with after effects in some kinda vfx actually its very very good to hear a awesome speech like this it inspired me a lot thnx & thank you very much
hey man, I'm an architecture student and I face creative block almost every other week cuz I try to do too much like you said, and taking a break really works , especially when taking to someone else about something super random, great channel btw, keep it up
Brother is brilliant, everything you do inspires me and this happens just today watching 15 videos, and I had a period that I said I do not want to do today, I can not, I'm busy but eventually I'm over this is what happened before I looked at you but after looking at your videoclups I seem to want to do something better, more. I'm working on a 1 in Blender I want to make a game, on the 3d models I have a little to do but I said I have to grab a little freelancer and make a portfolio and you gave me the motivation to do all this. I wish a lot of success !!
Thank you.... I watched this exactly right time. I was too sad because I stucked in a project and lose my payment today. I thought this is not a right job for me. But after seen this, I'm happy.. you inspired me a lot. thank you very much.
I like your voice and your diction. Everything is clear and sounds good. Pleasant to follow. When creative blocks will come again, I will re-listening this video for sure!
im not doing vfx, im doing Architectural Visualisation as freelance, but i should have watch this video a year ago. Thank you ! Now im inspired from people like you at my own craft....
Andrey Lebrov haha cool man!!! I would love to see a review about the fs7. Thats a really cool camera in my opinion. It has 4k 60fps option, which is a really awesame feature.
thank you I’m learning VFX at University in South Korea just started about few months ago not good at English but I learn a lot from your video and particularly this one really touched my mind and changed my attitude . so thanks for making this video.
2:57 calling someone is a really good idea that I never tried. interacting with others really grounds us to who we are. we can get lost from that after days of staring at a screen By the way, THANK you for making this video. some days I feel like I'm going crazy, and I'm the only one going through blocks. This really helps
Thank you so much. I have been waiting someone to tell me what exactly I feel and do to over come. Enthusiasm on learn everything and releasing a block buster movie one fine day with all knowledge and efforts.
I really like your words. I will start to folow you cheers from Monterrey Mexico hear is difficult find someone who understands what happens in the middle of the night on a cg office. Even this I love this industry.
Thanks man, you inspire me. You and your work. A small observation, I felt like there were too many cuts in the video if you could possible make longer shots your videos will be far more interesting to watch.
Just nice. I really need this at this moment. So many projs going on within a short period of time which I dun really know whether will i hv my family time or not. Thank u man for your kind advise.
I just watched this video and I have to say I’m really impressed with your thoughts. I feel the same way and I need more people in my life like you haha! Thanks for motivating me 🙏🏼
Thank you for your time and video it motivated me i was working on roto work as freelancer and shot got delayed and the guy who gave me the shot was angry at me shouted at me then eventually I delivered the shot but I was feeling low before watching this video
Thanks! This sounds so familiar. Too familiar! Often I have to literally work three-four days in a row, 24h per day without any sleep (maybe 1h sometimes) in the very end of before delivery date and deadline. But every time this happened, I was burn out and I have loose all energy for about 2 months. I literally have to recover myself 2 months every time because I can't do the thing (not even daily things) after these burnouts. It's some kind of after depression. These project are usually 2-6 months long. I definetly do something wrong. But I know that feeling.
Thank you mate. I do. Blade Pro is a beast, however, if I were you, I would surf the internet for rumours. Maybe they will release an updated version soon or something like that.
спасибо за советы! в принципе давно пришел к тому, что лучше выпить ром и покурить, а утром встать и вспомнить сон, где тебе приснилась идея, которую ты вчера весь день пытался сгенерировать)))
your speech is very very good and it not only hear on ears it sits into my brain. awesome deliver. not so fast no so slow. perfect pitch words. i totally love it.
Glad you liked it. Thanks!
I say the same. He speaks so beautifully.
4:21 that moment when you said "you are unique" i felt really happy and got that motivation kick.
Man I feel you like a friend through the screen hahaha. It may sound weird but you really do catch people attention (Im sure Im not the only one who can agree with this) Keep up the good work and sharing your experience and knowledge we all appreciate it
Very nice to know that mate. Thank you. Giving back as much as I can. Stay tuned! :)

It happens very often "Creative Block" but you have given a fantastic idea to get rid of it.
