    If the collider body doesn't work for you:
    put the "inherit tag" to "apply to children"
    "individual elements" to "all"
    "shape" to "mesh"

    Hi Andrey,
    there is an easier way to prevent particles from leaving the cylinder.
    under the collider tag ->collision ->shape - change it from automatic to Static Mesh and you can keep the cylinder as it is!
    Thank you for all of your tutorials and stuff!

    It's amazing how many times I have seen them in your videos and i didn't question their existence. Why not? Our reality is getting confusing where we would once question our eyes, we now accept what our eyes tell us as reality, since virtual is joining with that reality. Anyway, super impressive, as always!

  • @KaironReaps
    @KaironReaps 5 років тому

    Try using gaussian spectrum instead of rgb for emission nodes. That's from official manual: "The color usage in Octane is actually wavelength based. All RGB inputs that you use in other areas are actually converted to wavelength. At higher light intensity, rgb colors are clipped and you may see different (or wrong) color other than the desired color. "

    Hey Andrey! I still didn't got to the point where i'm using C4D often, but i'll get there soon. The only issue that i had till the day, is with Octane. The setup isn't so straight forward. I know i can watch some tutorials on the topic, i can maybe try and be wrong sometimes, but i'd rather to learn it from familiar faces, so either you or Grey Scale Gorilla maybe will come up with some training! Seriously,the first time i wanted to try use octane, i didn't even got to the point where i got any result (still talking about first setup).
    Anywho, love what you're doing, and thank you for all the time and effort that you put into us! Keep it running and put your feet on a gas!!

    Hey, great video. Just a tip in case you didn't know. In C4D you can press Shift + V in a viewport (front viewport in this case), which will open its settings. There you can go to the "Back" tab, where you can load an image from disk. That way you don't need to create a plane, the image stays in the viewport, and you can easily control its parameters (like transparency in percents instead of just an x-ray tick for the plane)

I need some soft reflections on my model taking in consideration that Im currently using a HDR texture within the OctaneSky and Power Value dropped to "0"? Shadow Caster is active. What would be best....illuminated planes or any specific lights I could use, maybe there's another secret to reveal behind this mystery?
