This is a story recap/summary of xenoblade chronicles. A science fiction type fantasy JRPG. And it has a long story with a lot of plot twists. Although, really, the bare story itself isn't too long, but when side quests can add 100s of hours of extra time to a game it's easy to lose track of the main story. On top of the main story, some DLC came out several years after the main game so that's in here as well.
I'm hoping to start to do more video game recap/story summaries and will probably pivot to doing some anime themed ones as well. The current plan is to get a video up for all 3 of the main xenoblade chronicles games. I was going to do one video initially, but the first one alone took long enough that I though it'd be best to upload in parts. And since I'm a small channel hoping to grow, I figured more uploads would be better. So up next will probably be Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and then 3 w/ the Future Redeemed DLC.
So come join Shulk, Reyn, Sharla, Dunban, Melia, Riki, and Fiora on their convoluted adventure across the Bionis and into the Mechonis.
If only Shulk knew his decision at the end would backfire spectacularly some years later...

i still love how riki reason for joining and being the heropon was becuase he was massivly in debt, wonder if killing an egomanic god was enough or if he still had debts by the end of the game
Didn't he get his debts canceled at one point
@@danielfazylov6960 his originl debt was repayed with killing the first "dino beast" but the nopon leader mentioned his kids ate more while he was gone creating a new debt which is why he stayedin the party....and probably continuously got into bigger debt as his kids ate lol

The reason why Alvis has super god power is due to his particular objective in the Trinity Processor.
Pnuema: Extracted the ether from the conduit.
Ontos: Controlled and gave form to said ether.
Logos: Disposed of any excess of ether unused.
XC1 world was made almost entirely of ether. This gave Ontos the hability of basically do anything he wanted with everything in the world.
Zanza and Meyneth's powers come from Ontis and both have their own Monados (In a certain way Alvis is a Blade with 2 drivers).

Thanks dude, you just saved me some 30 hours or more of a slog.
The twist involving Zanza being inside Shulk's body was excellent. The game gave enough clues to the twist that you could figure out what's really going on, but you needed to have spent 10 points in both perception and intelgence to so. However, the twist involving Dickson, Alvis and Lorethia being minions of Zanza is pretty weak by comperison.
The game kind off spoils it by having Lorethia present during the cutscene where Melia's mother and half-sister conspire to assassinate Melia, with Lorethia being the 3rd conspiriter. Yes, her face isn't shown during the cutscene and never speaks, but you can still clearly tell that it was her and later the game shows you a cutscene of her interacting with Dickson and Alvis, which results in player going "these people are evil and cannot be trusted".
Also, the game actively hides the fact that Zanza has disiples ontill Dickson shoots Shulk. I, mean why didn't Axol mention there existence before the penultimate boss fight against him comenced?
