My mask was missing the instruction booklet and I really needed to know how to clean it. This video was very informative and answered all my questions. Thank you!
At the end of your video, you discussed the "vents" near the hose tube of the mask. I'm wondering about the best cleaning approach. Should I wash from the inside out, or the opposite? I'm concerned about pushing dirt deeper into the vent area, potentially clogging it. Naturally, I plan to clean both sides, but I'm unsure which side should receive more thorough rinsing. My mask is quite old and has accumulated some dirt.
Great Question, we recommend a soft bristle brush, warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly. It won’t matter much which direction you wash it. We also recommend changing your mask system according to or close to the manufacturer's suggestions. This helps maintain a seal, improve your therapy, prevent dryness, and the mask system won’t get so built up with dirt and debris. Thanks for the question.
Per Resmed’s AirFit P10 user guide, clean the nasal pillow and frame (short tubing) daily. It just makes sense as you’re breathing in it daily. The headgear, which is the elastic band should be washed weekly and do not stretch them. Also, using a soft bristle toothbrush, brush the vent to clean them.

Thank you for this video. Even Resmed company's video doesn't show how to disassemble/assemble this mask
Thank you for your very effective explanation and demonstration. Extremely helpful. Exactly what I was looking for.
