I purchased a D3300 in 2016 for an eCommerce site that didn't happen. I've had the camera in its box in my wardrobe since then. As I had time the last few months I decided to try the camera out and assumed that it was no an old camera so I'm delighted with this video and a few more that have encouraged me get familiar with my D3300 and also to get that eCommerce site built. I am considering this for video shooting. Another video review shows that the camera is very noisy when recording video. Does using a lavalier or an extension mic remove that noise from being recorded? What lavalier mic do you use also? Thanks for the video here and any feedback.

I own this camera and it has insanely crisp photo and video quality, with extremely good low light contrast. I can't understand why people think it's to buy a useless 4K camera for UA-cam. I watch UA-cam at 480p normally, and it looks great. People need to stop buying the latest technology, for no reason whatsoever.
Some shots needs easier cropping 4k when post stabilizing videos bringing down to sharper 1080. It's not useless, it's a great feature to make your life easier.

Good side note is that your quality settings and resolution will affect max length of a single video. At 1080p 60fps high, your max will be 10mins, but bump down to 30fps or normal quality and you can get 20 or even 30min. 😊

Find a ac to dc adapter. Using one should cure that problem.
It has on all my dslr cameras.
Everything works while recording, except there seems to be a humming sound in my video. At first I thought it was the dishwasher running, but it had already stopped. Why do I get a humming noise, even though my personal voice does through perfectly?
Do u have any tips for making the focus noise in videos quieter? I have a mic but the focusing is really loud.
put the mic far away from the lens, or change the lens with af-p

Hello and thanks. I am trying to get my 3300work with Atem mini pro and wonder how does the audio come invia hdml on the video mode conected to Atem. It did not take my 1,5V needing mic and did not yet try audio via soundcard as a line level not needing volts. any clue?
is it possible that it does not supply volts for smsll mics when in HDMI mode/connection?
i am not sure but I assume that the audio Volt is not supplied in hdmi out mode. Only in recording mode. And that is ok. Have to walk the audio some other route into Atem MP or as a line level signal via mixer or sth like that.

In your video, in Frame Size/frame settings option I am seeing 1920x1080! 60p as a setting option..whereas in my camera, I can see the option with highest frame rate is 1920x1080; 50p(I am also using Nikon D3300) . Have you done something to get that setting available?

Hey, its because you are using PAL format. You can change it to NTSC to get 60fps at 1080p.

Better learn to focus in manual, the autofocus its not very good for a moving subjet.

when i shoot moving objects with this, (even slow walking ones) the auto focus tends to get disrupted in the middle leading to a blurry video in the middle. any way to fix this? thanks
