Well done, I too am happy to use a D3200 in 2023 with its kit lens. Let's remember how many famous photographers have produced masterpieces with cameras that are technically more behind this one. Don't worry about the instrument and go outside to take pictures! :-)
@@vampirebynight If you can't or don't want to spend so much on my experience it's an excellent machine that will certainly not disappoint you especially used with more performing goals but already with those kits it's fine. Is there anything better? Of course, but if you find a used one with a few shots at a good price, don't worry. Good luck!
Have owned this camera for 8 years. But been so intimidated by it. Watched this video & im learning to use this piece of art. Looooove my camera. Thank you for taking so much time to explain everything in such detail.
I’m another one of those blowing the dust off my camera bag and attempting to learn to use this camera that I bought about 8 years ago. Thanks for the video!
I’m a professional photographer and I absolutely love this camera for the price point. It’s a great camera for anyone looking to up their game. One thing it’s not good for is videos, so I wouldn’t get it for like vlogging or anything like that.
Thank you for this! I’m 25 and I want to start doing something more creative. I feel like I’m in a rut and just not being who I want to be or Can be. I’ve had my Nikon for 5+ years but never use it. It’s intimidating. But this video helped a lot. I’m going to start shooting and hopefully will lead to other things and get my creative juices flowing 🙏🏽
I just bought this camera yesterday as my first photography equipment since my budget is almost lowest. And I found your video! This video is so comfortable and I love your style! Thanks for your help in the beginning of my photography journey!
I'm surprised you don't have more subs. I am just looking at photography stuff for fun and most of the yt vids are irritating AF in this field. It is nice to come across an actual person giving solid info instead of listening to obvious automated bs. I figured there would be S tonnes of actual people doing reviews and informative content, but I guess not. Great job dude. Thanks
My father bought this camera 10 frickin years ago and I know so many others are fortunate but I have to say… thank you! I’m learning to use this thing properly and keep my passion going! 🤘🏼
Picking one of these up in a couple of days with an extra long telephoto lens. It will be my first camera. Watching the videos about it is getting me hyped 😊
Thank you! I bought the D3200 because of your recommendation! This video was made for me... I will walk through this video with you when my camera comes in the mail tomorrow!!
Allow me this idea: YOu can reproduce this kind of video tutorial and add some picture examples when you go through the settings. For example, you can show one picture with 100 iso and then the same with 800 iso, and so on. So we can get a deeper feeling of what each setting is about
JUST AN FYI FOR IOS USERS, if you have a dongle thing that you can plug into your phone and transfer photos from your SD card, you cannot do RAW… you must do JPEG.. or else it’ll be super pixelated, I’m glad i goofed around before doing an actual photoshoot and finding this out, This video is still very helpful!
Thank you so much! This really helped me a lot. I've had this camera for a while now, and I just haven't taken the time to learn the settings. This helps with the basics.
Thank you so much for this video. I am taking basic photography class and its a 3 credit class online. I need to pass this class so your video help me learn how to use my camera.
Thank you,i just bought a the 3200, and had no idea where to start. im excited to capture awesome nature and portraits really soon and continue practicing.
I just got one and trying to figure it out I wanted to take mono pic but noticed its coming blurry there a sigma 18 to 200 mm lense on it and also what setting was the camera on at the start of video ?
Huge help, thank you. I have purchased a D7500, way more camera than I have a clue to operate. But I want to take good quality photos of quilts. Will I need to set it as portrait settings? I also want to shoot close up details.
thanks for this, I bought one recently and must say I cant wai to try it out. Please suggest a video or link me up to other vides you made on different lenses that I can use for the 3200 if there are any
Question… I’m adjusting my settings as you go along and my camera will not let me adjust a few settings. It states on the screen “this option is not available at current settings or in the cameras current state.” What does this typically mean? Thank you
Newbie here…with the direct sunlight option, do you keep it there for indoor photos as well? Probably one of the silliest questions I have yet to ask. lol
I just got one of these with a broken flash for $220 AUD (About $150). It came with a lens too. I'm going to use my old Nikkor 18-105 DX lens with it though.
This was such well done and helpful video. Quick question for the AF-area mode section. I got the message: "this option is not available at current settings or in the camera's current state." I was able to follow along completely for the rest of the tutorial. This was my only hiccup. Any suggestions on what I can do to be able to adjust it?
Thank you for this video. Any recommendations on what lenses to use for outdoor photography. A relative gave me this camera with Nikon lenses and I am going to use it for baseball games for my son’s team
I’m watching this to see if I can pickup any tips for my 3200 I just picked up, I noticed in image size settings you mentioned no reason to go lower than the largest image size. I’m wondering if the camera will just crop the sensor image, or if it will pixel bin. Either way I appreciate the video and the tips that stem from it!

@@landonsmith3346 I don't really know, I use this camera mainly for photos with the kit 18-55 vr ii , 35 1.8 and 55-200 vr
Do you still use this camera now? If you do I'd appreciate if you could tell me if youd still recommended considering buying it in 2024
