I think it’s lovely what you’ve done to the cottage. I actually own a little rental property and I think that it is right for tenants to decorate a house they live in as long as it’s agreed with their landlord. The way I see it - it is my house but it is their home ☺️

Your kitchen looks amazing! And it looks so much brighter and bigger. Even though it is whiter than the fridge, it matches the tiles and the door on the back wall so looks great! We decorate our rentals. I put in a built in kitchen.. We lived there 10years so it was worth it.. And when we moved we sold it to the next renters for a few hundred.
I love what you've done and the colors are so pretty together. Do what makes you happy...just think how much joy your new kitchen will bring each time you go into it for a cup of tea or coffee.

So much brighter and I love the dark handles against the chalky white paint. Wood and white are a perfect match and a lick of paint in the right place can transform a room, in a very inexpensive way. Love it!

Love the difference this makes! My Dad was a decorator in his youth and did similar to their own kitchen recently to give it a glow up. It makes such a difference and looks like a new kitchen. This makes me excited to decorate my own kitchen when our house sale hopefully goes through! Love the style of your place, really simple and calm ☺️

Definitely seems worth the investment. Looks great! Exterior paint in general has certain UV filters mildew Resistance etc. that you probably wouldn’t want inside your home or are not approved for indoor use. Maybe it’s different with F&B though….Might want to ask them 😊.
Impressive transformation of the cottage, looks very professional. Anything that gladdens the heart in interiors is worth it. And whilst I am no expert in this, I would think an exterior paint which is designed for our climate would be more hardwearing for a kitchen, but that’s just my weird logic. 😉

The kitchen is beautiful Jessica, I imagine all the things I would do to our rental but it's not possible. I think in Australia it is really uncommon to renovate a rental and that's why as I have gotten older I feel so ready to own a home, to make it our own.

I love it so so much, it made the whole space so much brighter, with how it bounces the light around. I also think you made such a great choice with that green paint, it looks beautiful. It’s actually the same colour as our kitchen tiles, I’m realising now 😅

Not sure if available in UK stores, but you can purchase on Amazon or direct from their website. Funny some of their products are made in England. Truly amazing products and I believe the company is mom and daughter owned.
Just watched the Times decorating channel with Luke Edward Hall the designers cottage in the Cotswolds. His kitchen had the white cabinets and same wood counter as yours and a antique table in the dining area. You might want to check it out. Looked so cozy
It looks gorgeous Jess! So so pretty. And I actually think the exterior paint might work even better in the kitchen, since it is a room where there's usually more humidity, grease, etc, so the exterior paint might last longer and in better shape than interior paint ahah
