it looks amazing! If you would hang the curtains much higher and wider it would make the window look more grand. Maybe for another day
Higher for sure but the holes would have to be filler and patched.
Would be worth it though
I think its best to stick with the original window/curtain design. It's quirky and old and part of the house's character. A curtain extension would look like a hotel room. Too generic.
I love the layers of different whites, your bedroom feels like a cloud. 😊
The room looks beautiful, minimal and elegant. Even Hope blends in well on the bed with the decor. I am amazed at how much work you have put into a rental property!

I loved what you said about you being able to do all the work on your own but not forcing yourself to. That's something I'm learning for myself at the moment. Just because I have the ability to do something doesn't mean I have to do it on my own if it feels like it's too much!

It looks like a dreamscape ….it has an ethereal feel , perfect for a bedroom . I’m the same with change , I get anxious even if it’s a change I want , it’s the adjustment to something different . I think some art in the wall will be a wonderful addition . I love the pink throw on the bed , could you link where you got it ?

I actually love not having my clothes in here but I guess I’m lucky that’s an option as I live alone in a two bedroom. It’s so nice to be able to strip a room back to what it’s actually for, even if means having a smaller room

So pretty! I agree a bedroom is to sleep and relax! So pretty I love the minimalist vibe. I’m getting there. Recently a lot of clutter gives me stress and anxiety. Decluttering gives me peace and rest! 🥰

Really love the warm bedroom colour shades. Pointing is a great shade and looked so much cosier against the cold old wall colour as the decorator was painting it on the wall. The contrast was really obvious. I like the way Hope was supervising him too. And I loved the classical soundtrack. Enjoy your new room. It is beautiful. xx

It is gorgeous! The colors are so zen and calming. You can make a thick cushion for the window and have a sweet little nook for your puppy.

Lovely. Nicely done. 👍😃. If you repaint please consider bringing the wall colour up onto the angles of wall and ceiling too. Envelope the whole space in a single colour. It will raise your ceiling dramatically. 😉 Also, hanging your curtains as high as possible will expand the window and make it feel more grand vs making the ceiling feel abnormally lower and the window smaller and more quirky than it really is. Hang the curtain as high as it can go but also expand the rod to make it longer. At least 8” or 12” beyond the window frame on each side. Then add 2 more curtain panels to double the amount of fabric so that it feels luxuriously generous. When you open the curtains and stack them back they should sit on or cover the bare wall space you have added either side of the rod. The window will look as big as it actually is, you’ll have much more light and feeling of airy, beautiful space and it will look so much richer with hardly any extra effort or expense. Since there’s a raised ledge in front of the window you could also fit a 3-4” thick window seat cushion in the full area. Add some decorative cushions on top and you’ll have a gorgeous reading nook. And Hope will love it too. Great job on your whole home!
ah lovely tips, thank you! The walls and ceiling are the same colour ha ha it must be the light - and there's a bit of wood that's already in place for the curtain pole to run along so I've just gone with that instead of ripping it off and having to have it re-plastered. Thank you again!
At first, without the furniture, I was sure about the wall color but it looks FANTASTIC! So peaceful but optimistic, elegant, and minimal but having a very finished look. I’d say just try swapping out lampshades/lamps, or the art you want before repainting.

Love the pastel colours, so calming. I did an entire flat in those colours and it was so calming. I think though maybe the drawers should have been placed a bit higher over the window frame, even 6-8 inches. Love your rug. Paint colour you chose was very nice.

I love the room. So calm and inviting. The linnen covers and curtains give the room exactly the right feel. For on your wall you could hang some wall-art from Desenio (or other compagny). I have some posters hanging with sea images and it is so calming. I have the same style as you.

It looks lovely and comfortable, but you broke one huge decorating rule. You should have hung your drapes from the ceiling line.
Jessica explained this in the video, but personally I think it looks fine and rules are for people without imagination.
