i would say that Kamski is the one who let the first Deviant live (if you didn't watch the early trailer the one that shows the making of kara). and did that to every other androids that came alive. after that he quit cuz he couldn't handle the situation of deciding whether to kill or not to kill these deviants. about the emergency exit. i guess it was in them from the beginning.

I accidentally got the ending where Kara and Alice go to the concentration camp (Luther died during the search of the house), and are able to escape on my first play through . I must say, the concentration camp ending is probably one of the most powerful experiences I’ve ever had in a game. It did more for me in understanding and really empathizing with Jews of the holocaust then any history class, book, or article ever has. What a fantastic game
My first playthrough, Kara and Alice got shot when trying to enter the bus because I was too kind and let the couple get their ticket back. Lol I couldn't find the boat either for some reason.
I love how the creators of the game made it so you can't do any fast time events to save those two and had to watch them die from one choice. Makes you feel so guilty watching instead of intervening

They still had to move around to make the animations, as well as having the characters look just like the actors that played them. Yes, the CG is what actually appears onscreen, but unlike voice actors that only contribute their voices to the project, the people involved in this had to do exactly what the characters did. They didn't just sit behind a microphone.

I remember getting here getting all paranoid. This was just days after I bought the game after the release date. For all 3 of my characters it was going great. I knew I was close to having the perfect ending. There was no way in hell that I would go out there to talk to him. He looks like a bullshiter and he sounds like one too. He was obviously lying. I felt like if I go out there, the moment I would turn my back he would have his troops fire at me. He didn’t seem trustworthy at all. I’m glad I stayed where I was. Best decision of Markus’ life.
i love the symbolism at 0:55 where markus literally and figuratively steps into the dark side. i also like how every time a deviant dies while standing straight, they kneel when they die, opposed to when normal android collapse when dying.
Markus's crew still dies Connor becomes the new leader of the rebellion, but gets hacked by Amanda Connor can either fall under her control (if he doesn't find the stone) or kill himself when you touch the stone
Thankfully my Markus didn't accept the deal because I knew we couldn't trust Perkins. You're initially given a promise that if you surrender peacefully, you'll live along with your people, but in the end, you're betrayed and end up dead. It's a reminder that "deals" like these have occurred countless times throughout the history of mankind where evil triumphs over good. Detroit: Become Human, in my book, is a cinematic video game masterpiece! :)

I think I'm probably one of the only people that likes Perkins' character. Like, he's got that sarcastic undertone that although he's following orders, he really was disgusted that Markus had surrendered. Pointing out that he fucked up and got all his people, particularly North, killed showed that Perkins resented Markus for being a coward. That subtlety is amazing.
Actually one of my favourite endings. Have a soft spot for Perkins, love his men failing to clean up the mess, and Connor just waltzing in if he's a machine and taking all the credit 😂
I did this my first run I really thought it would be like everyone lives but everyone hates Markus for it but nope. In the end of the playthrough only Alice was alive 😢 I messed up big time.
Oh God, me too, as far as I remember I wasn't even given the option to refuse his deal, I messed everything up in just a few minutes and everyone ended up dying. I felt bad with them calling it "Marcus betrayed his people". [SPOILER for ending scene] I cried at the last scene with Kara carrying Alice out of the water and found out she had already died, few seconds later Kara died as well because she got shot at the boat.
Yeah obviously he had no good intentions but at that point i didn't know what else i could do. Markus had only the few androids on his side and Connor was dead so he wasn't gonna back him up.
Would have been quite a twist that during the president speech at the end, the newsfeed changes to show wild civil unrest all over the country about what happened, if the public opinion was high.

This game is so infuriatingly polarizing. If even for a second one strays from the goody-two-shoes path, you'd instantly get hit over the head with moments like the end of the rupert chase, which not only ends instantly after the big decision, but amounts to virtually nothing at the time.
If you've seen the "victory" moment with Markus & North along with Connor bringing the converted androids to Markus and congratulating him, instead of that happening the androids tell Connor that he must become the leader and tells him to talk to the crowd - then Amanda will attempt to regain control of Connor and you'll be given two options - Connor shoots himself or Connor lets Amanda control him.
North is so contradicting here at 3:36. She may say that, but everytime Markus is about to get killed, anybody will sacrifice themselves to save Markus saying that their cause will die without him. Surrendering peacefully and saving himself would make her happy you'd think
I love this game so much probs my second fav of all time, from the relationships between characters and the stories of the individuals it was so moving at times and emotional. The soundtrack is amazing as well. But I just love Kara and Alice their connection is heartwarming

Actually one of my favourite endings. Have a soft spot for Perkins, love his men failing to clean up the mess, and Connor just waltzing in if he's a machine and taking all the credit 😂

I did this my first run I really thought it would be like everyone lives but everyone hates Markus for it but nope. In the end of the playthrough only Alice was alive 😢 I messed up big time.

Oh God, me too, as far as I remember I wasn't even given the option to refuse his deal, I messed everything up in just a few minutes and everyone ended up dying. I felt bad with them calling it "Marcus betrayed his people".

I cried at the last scene with Kara carrying Alice out of the water and found out she had already died, few seconds later Kara died as well because she got shot at the boat.

Yeah obviously he had no good intentions but at that point i didn't know what else i could do. Markus had only the few androids on his side and Connor was dead so he wasn't gonna back him up.

This game is so infuriatingly polarizing. If even for a second one strays from the goody-two-shoes path, you'd instantly get hit over the head with moments like the end of the rupert chase, which not only ends instantly after the big decision, but amounts to virtually nothing at the time.

I wonder what happens if you do this while Connor is converting more androids at Cyberlife, like what happens when Connor makes it back with them?
If you've seen the "victory" moment with Markus & North along with Connor bringing the converted androids to Markus and congratulating him, instead of that happening the androids tell Connor that he must become the leader and tells him to talk to the crowd - then Amanda will attempt to regain control of Connor and you'll be given two options - Connor shoots himself or Connor lets Amanda control him.
North is so contradicting here at 3:36. She may say that, but everytime Markus is about to get killed, anybody will sacrifice themselves to save Markus saying that their cause will die without him. Surrendering peacefully and saving himself would make her happy you'd think

I love this game so much probs my second fav of all time, from the relationships between characters and the stories of the individuals it was so moving at times and emotional. The soundtrack is amazing as well. But I just love Kara and Alice their connection is heartwarming

Richard Perkins have's a good voice actor (David Coburn) and his design it's awesome, in the game i dont like 'em but i really like his design, a pretty good designed character!
