No one's going back to Bud Light ever once they've switched brands and realized what watered down swill they'd been drinking all these years. Makes boycotting them an easy decision. 😆
Everybody on the planet knows Bud Lite is next to water. What year is this? You drink it cuz you don't want to gain any weight. But yeah, the tiny bit of Alcohol in the beer/water evaporates away as soon as you pop the tab. So you got to drink 16 of them before you start to feel anything.
I remember the clever radio commercials back in the 1980's. But good advertising can only go so far.

It's not a boycott, it's a successful ad campaign. Bud's advertising VP, Alissa Heinerscheid, said that they're goal was to eliminate their fratty "immature" customer base. Mission accomplished.
Disney needs to hire her.
Still waiting to see video of the ATF raiding AB Head Quarters for their knowingly advertising to an under age audience, this was straight from Heinerscheid's mouth "This brand is in decline, it's been in a decline for a really long time, and if we do not attract young drinkers to come and drink this brand there will be no future for." To me it sounds like AB was knowingly violating the law or am I wrong?.
Yes that statement right there should have rang the alarm bells
The same thing has to happen to Target, Nike, Disney etc. and all woke brands.

InBev is not a beer company, its run by shareholders, who are members of WEF.

Does not matter, look up AB Inbev. It's the company that owns bud light. That giant owns about 600 beer brands. If you for example change to corona instead of bud light. You still pay them because they own corona.

It’s nice to see other companies get a bigger piece of the pie.
Coors just reported earnings and they were disappointing. That was the company that was supposed to benefit from the Bud Light boycott.
@@bt1169Well, AB’s big losses are going to result in smaller gains for a lot of different competitors: some went to Miller, some to Coors, some to Yeungling: lots of small winners, one BIG loser.
@@marthacalkins8054 The BIG loser you are referring to posted earnings yesterday:
"Anheuser-Busch InBev, the world’s biggest brewer, on Thursday smashed profit expectations during a quarter that saw a social media-driven boycott of its bestselling Bud Light beer in the U.S.
The Belgium-based Budweiser owner said its second-quarter revenue rose by 7.2% globally, as price hikes offset a 1.4% fall in volumes. The company said organic growth in earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) was 5%, above a consensus forecast of 0.4%."
This lead comment is from page one of the socialist's handbook. "It's nice to see other companies get a bigger piece of the pie." That is, word for word, socialism.
@@scottosborn6193 Socialism means government intervention, not when the buying public leaves on brand for another.
I don't think this is really about Mulvaney at all. I think people became angry with Bud Light after watching their Marketing exec talk down to their customers and push an agenda. The executive did exponentially more damage than Mulvaney.
@@Abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz0000 That was in the news, how do you think we knew about it?
@@Abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz0000 Sorry if my comment got you excited... Here it is... Because the media sources for 'news' that many of Bud Light's consumers go to ran the marketing exec's video more than they ever saw Mulvaney. Plus on all their social feeds, etc. Many media sources were running it.
But your reaction got me thinking,.. are you really more upset that it's a dude that likes to dress up in dresses than Bud Light marketing exec dissing the customer base?
Miller/Coors need an all RED can :)
MolsonCoors supports the UN/World Bank marxism/fascism, DEI/ESG and GRI reporting index, and supports “Climate Change” globalism tyranny.
Private, for profit, businesses should be absolutely apolitical. Any political statements should be done by the owner, as a private citizen, in their own name, with their own money.
There are so many better beers than bud light. This just was the impetus for Bud light drinkers to find out. I doubt many will slide back to bud light especially since they never even lowered the price, which they should have done in the first place to get more sales. It’s just not a premium product. Never was.
Yes I was looking the other day and 18 packs are still $20 bucks lol
There are lots of people who like to drink watered down beer. Usually people who don't drink beer very often.

A beer in in the hand is worth 2 dozen Busch in the bush
Bravo
Their problem is their product isn’t very good. Beer is weird because unlike wine where people want to try as many different brands and varieties as they can, people tend to buy one or two brands of beer. If you have a guests over you buy the beer you think they will want. Until recently, in many parts of America, people bought Bud Light because no one would complain. But the product itself is bad. It’s just not good beer. And now that millions have turned elsewhere, they have likely found that their replacement is just as good, or likely a lot better.
Bud Light is owned by AB inbev. They even own Corona. So if you move to the next beer it will probably be from ab inbev anyway so they don't lose money.
Only when they go bankrupt will things be resolved. Nothing dire about evil suffering. Target should be next.
Didn't Miller Lite initially go woke, then pulled back once Bud Lite crashed ?
I think you might be right.
The difference being, Miller didn't blame customers or quadruple down with it.
Molson/Coors was somewhat woke before AB InBev Anheuser-Busch.
It doesn't matter what Anheuser does... I'm never buying anything from them, again. They had their shot, and they blew it.
Its not a boycott, the customers are gone. They're buying something else. There are so many choices nobody has to deal with politics when they shop.
If you were drinking Bud Light and tried a different option, you likely found that the other beer was superior. If that is the case, why return.
I stopped drinking beer for these massive companies after I did a tour of a brewery in Blanco, Texas. I love their product. Now, I mostly consume Real Ale products. . .
The only reason to drink Bud Lite is cuz you don't want to gain weight.

Coors is cheerleader beer.
Steve said that Bug Light is down nearly 400 million in revenue, but I thought that they were down like 15-20 billion in revenue. That's a far cry from millions.
400 million in lost sales vs Billions lost in market capital. Which means amount lost in share price of their stock. 2 different things. The stock went down first because investors anticipated a decrease in sales (which turns out to be 400 million)
Ah, ok. Thanks for clarifying. @@steve4825

I had never bought Bud Lite anyway, but now I will remember for the rest of my life to go out of my way to really NEVER buy any or accidentally allow anyone to ever offer me a free Bud Lite. Again, if cases of Bud Lite were stacked under a sign that says "FREE. Take one!", I would never even consider it. I only wish that I could address every instance of Political Correctness as directly and simply as we now address this one.
People who never alive when the Edsel came out still know what it meant. I think Bud Light is deader that a Mackerel
Apparently their large set up at Sturgis bike rally basically sat empty. What other sign do they need to understand they must fire CEO, upper management, Marketing and so on? The entire brand needs a serious revamp and public admission they attempted to insert their politics into the Beer. A few employees taking leave is an insult to those who used to drink Bud.
Piece of advice: Announce the firings of many current management, including the CEO, then hire Riley Gains as the new face where the brand praises her as a hero. NO? Okay then, buh bye Bud!
Keep it up people, the victory will only be achieved once BUD Light is no longer made. The lesson will not be learned by BIG-business until we cross the finish line.
I bet consumers also said they wanted a specific and public apology but they won’t do that so they probably wouldn’t make it known that was also a key point of interest
