@@barroncunningham73, I don't have my PDL drive in when I run my Xi3, only because I don't want to modify the location and angle of my Xi 3 to accommodate for the use of both. Eventually I think I will do the MOD. Running my Xi3 is pretty awesome right now. I always keep my paddle on my kayak though just in case of any electrical malfunctions.
What kind of kayak do you have?
I have an OldTown Sportsman 120 PDL. I installed a MotorGuide Xi3 trolling motor on the Bow.
