@@linksgarage1985 Thanks for the in depth video, didn't the original stator test within spec? How did ya determine that the stator needed to be replaced? do you think the crusty connection on the 3 white to white connector may have caused the no spark condition or do you think it was just the stator? Thank you hope to hear your thoughts on that. Thanks
Thank you. Same issue. Bought the same part and fired right up first try. I did end up stripping a free screws on the stator even with my impact and was able to match them at my local Home Depot.
Thats a clean Warrior with grimy connectors! Having the same issue and I suspect its also the stator, ran after winter storage, then ran but only at idle, then wouldnt run at all... no spark... new carburator and new coil/plug... gonna test and replace the stator today! THANKS!
Amazing video!! My warrior runs really good but the stator wasn't charging the battery. After a fun hour on the trails, I was quite surprised to see my new battery was flat after letting the machine chill for a few minutes. My brother gave me a good push so we got it fired back up lol! I read on a forum that the stator is three phase: "Warriors have a three phase stator and the charging system is separate from the ignition system." Must be only parts of my stator have failed. I'll get one coming in the mail, thanks for your video!
I was wondering the same thing, the stator tested all good right? So that wouldn't have been an issue. Do you think the crusty connection on the 3 white to white connector just needed to be cleaned up? Do you think that Is why he had no spark?
You literally have maybe the nicest stock warrior out there. There always in crappy shape on marketplace lol. I remeber you making the first warrior vids. I got my warrior looking good again because of your vids. Sold my warrior was in similar shape as yours. Bought a 400ex and just recently a 86 250r.
Always liked the 400EX and the 250Rs! I got a nerf bar video coming up for the warrior. And thank you! This thing has probably been ridden 15 times in the last 15 years. It still has the factory tires on it lol.
great job on video and repair. Id like to find one with no spark because there are so many out there. Thanks I can do from just watching this...about to make an offer
Hey @scott link me Nd my buddys where trying to fix his warrior stator but had trouble on the bolt you put your sharpiekn it was just spinning we were using a hand wrench we seen you use a impact do we need a impact ?

So i noticed you didnt check the resistance on the Pulser or trigger coil on your testing and the other components read fine so why did you order a stator for it in the 1st place???
There are several checks you can do. I was not sure of all of them. The ones I did, did test ok. But I had checked CDI and some other things, I had already replaced the coil. So I took a chance on a cheap stator and it did the trick. Thanks for watching!
You actually did a really good job considering you've never done one of these before. From the looks of the video, It appears you first tested the charging coils that charge the battery, and powers everything except for the CDI. Then it appears you tested the single charge coil that powers the CDI. But I didn't see you test the pickup / pulse coil. The CDI has no clue that the engine is even turning over until it receives a pulse from the pickup coil. So it's safe to say that it was the pickup coil, or one of the two wires from the pickup coil that failed.
What would cause my 01 to only spark one time when i turn my key switch on and hit the button the whole harness is new as well as cdi box ignition coil and Stator
@@linksgarage1985 Thx Sir. l just see 360gasket video mentioning that it could be a weak stator when cranking and cranking, no start, but will start by pull cord. Interesting.
