- PizzaFLIX Presents CLASSIC MOVIE MONDAY
Director: Norman Foster
Stars: Norman Foster, Elaine Shepard, Vince Barnett, Polly Ann Young
An aspiring detective, working as a San Francisco tour guide, falls for a pretty traveler trying to locate her missing sister.
TRIVIA: Actor-turned-director Norman Foster was married to actress Sally Blane, and cast her older sister Polly Ann Young in a small but pivotal role in this film.
I lived right there for 16 years! And i was a tour guide like that guy!
I so love Poverty Row studio movies. The banter is better than usual in a movie of this type. Glad I watched it!
After all that rain in SoCal, I went out and worked in the garden and got sunburned. I am mellowing with a cold corona in my ancient recliner and my 11-inch laptop 12 inches from my eyes (do the math!) Tonight, I am having crackerjacks with my beer. I hope the movie and the prize in the box do not disappoint.
Love!! Crackerjacks!!!sounds 👍 good!!...,hah I'm doing same thing except w a cheese sandwich & Dr Pepper at 2am in West Texas
love the sound of andy iona and look there's "Dagwood" selling insurance at the jewelry shop.
Enjoyed this movie a lot!!! Thanks!
Weird! I was just talking with my roommate about this movie.
That is weird 🍕🥸🍕

Good print...entertaining B-Mystery with nice S-F location footage. Polly Ann Young was Norman Foster's Sister in Law via his marriage to Sally Blane. Elaine Shepard didnt have much of a film career but later became renown as an intrepid War Correspondent in the 50s and 60s. Fascinating career for such a minor starlet, proving she was much more than "just a pretty face".
Another one I thoroughly enjoyed! Although I kinda hoped the sister would be still clinging to life when they opened the trunk.
I enjoyed this movie -
* Thank you so much -

I'm here for your wonderful show. Thank you 😊
This is good film❤👍
A good yarn, great characters, plenty suspense... Thanks for the back story. For a directorial debut, the chase scene 🚚🚗🚓absolutely ahead of its time!
Hi Val 🍕it never ceases to amaze me how entertaining this little known movies can be 🍕
Nifty little thriller! Great chase scene!
@micro-organism-pv5gd Cool!
Decades before Bullitt.
My Mother was from San Francisco so it was fun to watch the film to see what it looked like in the 30s. Thanks PizzaFlix.
Yes very entertaining movie.thank you.

@@candy9986 thank you for that. I love the old movies. I think the new movies and TV shows today SUCK. so just watch all the old ones. much better stories and much classier .

Happy Birthday!!!❤❤❤
Dude! It's your birthday! So cool!
thank you so much all my fellow vintage film fans! 🎥🎥🎥🎬😀🥂
Fast-paced, action-packed and with likeable characters and lots of fun thrown in. But was the sister dead in the trunk; and if so, why such a happy ending. Not that I didn't like the ending, but it kinda made little sense. Oh well, it was just a movie and I did enjoy it -- So... Thanks for the upload.
Hi Patric -- yes a very odd little movie, a murder and a rom-com.
I think we knew from the beginning she was dead in the trunk.
Another GOOD one Pizza Flix❤
Rookie cop shooting firearm on a crowded street.
Amazing script!
i liked Myra.
i didn't want to see her go; she had a glorious face.
She reminds me of Kelly LeBrock.
Hi Blake 🍕Star and director Norman Foster was married to Sally Blane, a sister of Loretta Young. He cast their other sister, Polly Ann Young as Myra 🍕
@@PizzaFLIX Thanks, man! i learned about the Young sisters when i googled Polly.
i always found Loretta to be quite comely in the same way, so it makes sense that they were related.
@@BlakeGildaphish76 🍕Kelly was a real knock out. I met her once in the 80s at a NYC nightclub 🍕🥊
Foster did a fine job as leading man and director. Of course the both had a great leading lady to work with. 🙂 Elaine Shepard Beautiful model, still beautiful as a talented actress, then a journalist & author. Wow! A winning trifecta. 👍👍👍
Most entertainment I've had in a long time!
Thanks, Pizza Flix! 👍
That was really good! The bonus of the movie is seeing San Francisco looking great instead of what it sadly has become.
🍕🍕🍕Thank you , Pizza Flix 🍕🍕🍕👍
Hi Cookie 🍕This is an odd mix of Murder & Romance 🍕

This is so simple and tacky that it is almost good.
Thanks, I really enjoyed this movie. Not watched on Friday, Tuesday arvo. 😊❤🇦🇺
What an entertaining story with pretty good directing (and performance) by Norman Foster. I loved the location shots, the camerawork was well done and still feels modern. Especially the chase scene involving Norman Foster on a trolley. 😊👍
Hi!
