I had a theft case where they didnt leave any prints besides the victims partner, originally thought the partner might've stolen it but after checking and finding nothing I investigated every single coworker of the victim's apartments, found the stolen item on the very last guy i investigated, just got unlucky I guess
I had a case where a wife was murdered and the husband (I think it was anyway) was just standing in the room over the body with a hammer in his hand when I walked in... then he sprints out the door so I chase him down and put him in cuffs. Search the crime scene. Zero prints other than the wife’s and the husbands. Wife died by a blunt object, husband ran out holding a blunt object... seems easy enough, right? Well turns out, it wasn’t even the husband. Couldn’t figure out who it was either as was zero evidence of anyone else being their. Game definitely needs some work with the AI, but damn it’s so good so far. Imagine what it’ll be like if it gets continued support for a long time and mods.
I had a case like this and ended up accidentally investigating the victims PARTNERS work for like 2 ingame days thinking the killer would be there for some reason, they were leaving no finger prints or anything either so annoying
This game is so good because sometimes the cases can be so challenging. I had this one murder case of some company director in his apartment. I searched the crime scene and only him and his wife’s fingerprints were all over the scene. His wife was also a weapons dealer, so I assumed it was her. I turned in the case and turns out I was wrong. I was shocked so I went back to the scene of the crime and it turns out there was one foreign finger print on the death threat note left at the scene. This game makes you really pay attention to detail.
Overlooking one tiny piece of evidence can be all the difference you need in this game to solve the case. I remember I had a case where someone was gunned down in the streets outside. It was almost impossible to identify who it was, I had absolutely nothing to go on. It was like my 7th time back to the crime scene cuz I was going mad at that point.. finally found the murder weapon UNDERNEATH the victim's body. You could barely see it. Scanned it, found a fingerprint, and found the killer shortly after.
I love this narrative style, very film noire. I had a case like this one, it nearly drove me mad. I had fingerprints but none of the coworkers matched them, they'd not gotten or made a single call, and I had no leads on a name or description. I spent bloomin' hours tracking down people they knew in their address book and trying to get their prints but there were a dozen pages to check. Then the killer struck again. I grabbed the new victim's address book and set to comparing names and BINGO! They both knew a woman named Leah and when I tracked her down her prints matched. She was victim 1's upstairs neighbor and victim 2's coworker. Handing in that case was SO satisfying.
That's definitely my fav part about the game is when suddenly you receive a case that totally defies all training you've been through. Thank you so much, every word you said, it means a lot! I'm glad people have been liking the quality, I'm gonna do my best to make sure they keep getting better!
I've been writing similar things to this to my own cases in this game. I doubt I'll ever put them up but this is wonderful and I hope you keep doing this, even if its just for noticeable cases as while I find it fun to do every case that pops up until they do some overhauls from the outsider perspective it can get a little repetitive without some creative writing like this one, but that's just the lives of us gritty detectives going in the muck of the city to drag out the filth to be shown in light of j u s t i c e...okay that's enough pulp speak from me. You earn yourself a sub!
Thanks for the sub!! And yeah, repetitiveness is probably my only gripe with the game. After playing for a while, it just becomes really easy and now I'm solving cases way too fast. So I'm trying to find ways to lengthen the videos and make the cases a little longer! I'm sure I'll figure it out, but it's a pleasure to have you along on the channel! Thank you for everything you said!
That's awesome!! Did you come from the subreddit directly? Or did you see my stuff on Reddit and then find me later on UA-cam? Just wondering because it's always nice to hear where everyone comes from! Thanks you so much!

Hey dude don't see a lot of shadow of doubt players, would love to see a series of it. Also your editing is top notch, maybe try and solve a case in Gotham 😂
I have a decent series so far on the game where I narrate different cases, just like this one. And I've gotten Gotham suggested a lot so I'll have to do it soon for sure! 😂

Thanks for the comment! It really is an addicting game, I can't wait for future updates. It has so much potential. Thanks for the compliment as well, and the sub! Hopefully that view count will continue to rise!
I really hope they improve the interior design system. Right now items are way too frustrating to handle. A grid lock system to attach them to furniture would be sooo nice.
For sure.. I got lucky and took the time to do it carefully. And even then, I probably reloading every couple minutes. A grid system would be nice too for those who want it, but I've also heard people ask for just a randomize apartment option for those who don't want to take the time and furnish themselves.
I watched stuff+ series. and he had a enforces that was the killer. first she killed the person ran downstairs (somewhere). got in uniform ran back and then stood guard at the door. also said apartment just had the bad look of been where all murder, side quest and killer lived. like at the end everyone on that floor was or had done something.
I currently am suffering through the same kind of case. 3 unsolved murders. All with the toy car and the fingerprint. Unfortunately, its been three days since the last murder, so no camera footage. i expect the fourth murder soon, at which point I hope to find some kind of lead. x.x Its seriously the hardest of the archetypes.
The first victim in the most confusing case I've had was also called Grainne Ferrari. If first and last names are generated independently that's a curious coincidence.
@@thatboywags guess the cop also decided to grab a bit before getting there... like I could see if this was a anime show how the cops that also would respond to it stand on the other side of the fence going should we get tot the scene or get a bite at the restaurant first.
Not gonna lie, having a similar issue with my current case, mf has claimed half a dozen victims and left behind nothing more than a business card with a cryptic message, a message scrawled on the wall in blood, and the fingerprint AK. All this time and just last unfortunate victim, i caught him on cctv, yet searching every lead I can think of has resorted to nothing. So I'm methodically going through government records until I strike gold.
Can you _really_ call yourself a hard-boiled, jaded ex-cop-turned-private-eye if you _don't_ spend half your time at a dive bar or a hole-in-the-wall diner near your apartment where you address everyone on staff by their first names?
It’s so cool how you can find out who killed the person by busting into the gun store and seeing who bought ammo. I really want this game now!

Well I guess I got lucky to be here
Thank you!
Welcome to the crew! 😂
Soooo glad this popped up in my recommended. You definitely deserve so many more subscribers. I think this game fits so well for this kind of editing and storytelling and you did such a great job with this video. Enjoyed every second of it
Thank you so much, every word you said, it means a lot!
I'm glad people have been liking the quality, I'm gonna do my best to make sure they keep getting better!
This is some high quality content, i hope the algorithm blesses you soon
Thank you! It definitely has been, no complaints 😂
Yeah...i think you are going to have a subscriber-boom in the near future, your content is really good!
Thank you so much for the kind words!
The growth has already been astounding to me and I can't wait to see what happens next!
I was on the edge of my seat at the end :D very exciting!
Thank you!!
I absolutely loved this and the previous video. You're doing an amazing job with these
Appreciate the kind words, thank you ❤️ I'll do my best to keep it up
This was great! Loved the vibe.
Thank you, I appreciate it!
To be honest, I am a new subscriber I am here before you went viral you got that
Haha thank you! I'll make sure to keep my eye out for you!
Thanks for subbing!
I loved this! Well done, entertaining, hard boiled justice in Shadows of Doubt
Yoo i saw uou posting on the shadows of doubts subreddit! Im loving the videos on this game man!
That's awesome!! Did you come from the subreddit directly? Or did you see my stuff on Reddit and then find me later on UA-cam? Just wondering because it's always nice to hear where everyone comes from!
Thanks you so much!
@@thatboywags you got recomended to me. I suddenly reconised the clips in your video that you posted on reddit lol
Great vid! Shadow of Doubt is an Amazing game.
Thank you! Yeah I've been enjoying it a lot! I'm excited to see what future updates hold.
Hey whats the music used at 1:13? is a tune you always use in your videos and I love it it fits the game perfectly
Damn that was great. Good commentary and I might pick this game up.
Appreciate it!
Let me know if you end up grabbing it and how you like it!
I don't have anything to say, but you deserve more views so I'm commenting for the engagement.
Well then you certainly have something to say 👌 Thank you!! 😂
I really enjoyed this video. It was like watching a short movie. Can't wait to watch more! ❤
Thank you for watching! I'll have more soon!
Goddamn! Even an enforcer can be a murderer. Keep up the great work, love the way the story is told.
Thank you for the kind words! I'm happy people are liking the style!
@@thatboywags the game is still in its infancy and everyone is uploading 1-4 hours gameplay. It’s enjoyable to have a fun roleplay 10-20 min video of this game. This map looks huge too
@@MalaysianChopsticks yeah I have noticed that.. I've just been trying to keep vids around the 10 min mark, as it seems to work the best. Short and simple.
It's a large sandbox map I'm pretty sure! I'm just now starting to get used to the area and remember the routes.
@@thatboywags People like me actively seek for the short and sweet videos with an ending to the case. Longer videos are fine with the editing but I’m sure it’ll take longer to produce so keep doing what you’re doing.
Small channel that deserves to grow, love the narration and video quality. Have my sub bossman, and stay up there!
Thank you so much, you don't realize how much it means to me. Thanks for subbing! I'll see you around!
Well you’re my favorite shadow of doubt UA-camr now
😂 thank you!!
This game is so cool, great content keep it up man
Thank you, I appreciate it!
But WHY the little toys besides the bodys... why?!?!?? haha Great video, best regards from Argentina!
Are we not gonna mention how he made a this look easy I played this game before with my friend after watching a few of these videos and my friend was stumped and I just did what he did I looked for prints then found a print and went looking for keywords for gun stores found the guy arrested him and boom your amazing at this game and I love your content
Dear god, a slug to the ba k if the head sounds brutal. Amazing video, you just earned a sub!
Definitely not the way I'd want to go! 😂
Thank you for watching and subbing, I'll see you around!
I’m addicted to this game and your house looks very nice. Despite being a dystopian world it’s really relaxing. I thought this would have more views with the quality. Thanks for the video 🫡
Thanks for the comment!
It really is an addicting game, I can't wait for future updates. It has so much potential.
Thanks for the compliment as well, and the sub! Hopefully that view count will continue to rise!
every shadows of doubt video I watch gets better and better
Thanks fam!
Love this format! Keep it up wags
Thank you!! ❤️ I'll do my best!
Amazing video mate!
Thank you!
Good work I very enjoyed video
Thank you!
Super entertaining coverage of this game. Great work. Really enjoyed it as a viewer!
Thank you so much!
This is so well made thanks for the content
Thanks for watching :)
I like to believe hes playing as the same character who just keeps moving because of all the chaos he causes xD
Someone has said this before and it sounds pretty accurate in my head 😂
7:20 I do the same things lmao, also kinda sad you didn’t visit them.
Me too, I totally forgot about it at the end of the case :(
Amazing vid. I enjoyed it a lot.
I appreciate you saying that! I'll have some more posted in the next few days!
Thanks for watching!
Really great videos. i hope to see more Shadows of Doubt content.
Thank you! I'll have some more out soon!
I'm enjoying these videos! Keep 'em coming
Will do! Thanks for watching!
Oh NO, the killer was an ENFORCER?! No wonder they covered their tracks so well!
👀😧
It makes me very happy to see so many small UA-camrs getting into the detective mindset with this game.
Definitely agree! I've watched a few other smalltime UA-camrs and it's so great seeing the different ways people go about solving cases!
This video opened up some ideas for me.
I would to have thought to consider checking out a black market for clues!
It was probably my last and final resort so I'm thankful it worked 😂
@@thatboywags Yeah, I didn't think about ever checking sales records like that! Or that toy cars were calling cards.
How do you do the interior design, I mean how can I buy furniture?
I do care about the interior design LOL, the worldbuilding is killer
OMG NOT THE DOUBLE MURDER CASE THAT ONE WAS SO HARD
I'm gonna double mur- ...nvm
Great video!
Thank you so much!
Can't wait for this to release on the PS5! ✨
The first victim in the most confusing case I've had was also called Grainne Ferrari. If first and last names are generated independently that's a curious coincidence.
I just imagine they were killing people in my city, then they moved to yours and got killed themselves 😂😂
That is a crazy coincidence!
This is a gem
Nah, you are!
Great content g
Appreciate it! 👌
brilliant video!
Thank you!
>Has breakfast before going to the crime scene
> Still arrives before the cops
😂😂😂
@@thatboywags guess the cop also decided to grab a bit before getting there... like I could see if this was a anime show how the cops that also would respond to it stand on the other side of the fence going should we get tot the scene or get a bite at the restaurant first.
I do care about the design its beautiful!
Good video!
Thank you!
Can you _really_ call yourself a hard-boiled, jaded ex-cop-turned-private-eye if you _don't_ spend half your time at a dive bar or a hole-in-the-wall diner near your apartment where you address everyone on staff by their first names?
Great storytelling skills, it's really entertaining!
Thank you!
That was great!
Banger video
Banger comment 👌
Thanks for watching!
1:37 This was too funny lol
